Another fantastic video, Dan. I went out to Iceberg today and limited out on spots with my first pull. 143 shrimp and I was the only person in the boat. Ran into the Orcas on the way out to the shrimping grounds, so that was a nice surprise. On my way back to Center Island, I stopped off and got some groceries…..26” keeper ling. I kept it because I wanted to get back and take care of my shrimp. I really like how you post the date and time on your videos. So many guys reference the day, but it could be years ago. It might say “posted 2 years ago,” but what does that tell us?

Nice job on the shrimp & lingcod. I was shrimping yesterday the 13th of June me and my son but only got one & a half limits but the tides where bad here plus we only have 4 hours to do it all in. You're so lucky you get lot more hours to shrimp a day then just 4 hours it's 9:00am.to 1:00pm that's all what I get here.

Lingcod ends June 15th one more day and I don't think I'm going buy the way the weather looks for the last day. I barely made it out today it was so nasty but it calmed down for about an hour and a half and we snuck out and got two nice lings but it still was rough waters.

There's lings in Tacoma area. You got to know where to find them.

It's my own boat no rental sorry. There's Lingcod all over Puget Sound just find some structure and fish it if there's rockcod there's more then likely to be lingcod there.

Love the videos Dan! Nice keeper! I might need to grab some Herring from you on one of these couple of trips before it closes! Seems like Lings go after the Herring way faster than the Sand Dabs on the initial drop. I know you're very close to action, so your trips aren't too long, but you have seen the Hush Bubble Aerator Pumps? They are really slick for $15. Throw a couple D Batteries in, clip the pump onto your bucket and drop the hose down...Then you wouldn't have to worry about tossing water out and putting new water in as often.

I got the Herring open 4:30 am. I got a aerator somewhere and they do work I just don't take time to get it out and go get batteries just to get batteries is over 20 miles I just don't have the time right now.

It doesn't get any better than that. Quick run. I was hoping to see the meat on that 36". They start getting fatty and not as nice looking fillets around that size. 👍

I'm behind on my videos I got 5 to 7 videos or more to get out I've been so busy the last few days with people wanting bait, where to go, how to fish, on & on. I've been opening at 4:30 am since I've gotten Herring now I just don't have much time now.
I mite have the video on one of the big lings cleaning. the lingcod have been big keepers now I've got two 36in" 35in" 34in" in the last week, I think the fillets been just
beautiful you get a little more of the red meat on the skin side but that's easy to cut off. I think I got the videos of filleting them I just got to get them out.

@@dansSawfish5604 I look forward to seeing that. Glad things are going well for you at the shop. I guess I'm just super picky about meat.
