Amber Guyger, an off duty police officer, killed Botham Jean, an auditing professional inside his apartment as he eats ice cream after work. Because she thought it was her apartment. Imagine! She got 10 years max, will be out in 6. Imagine a country wherein citizens can be killed in their homes by the government police, with NO CRIME in place. And the U.S. talks about human rights and democracy globally, with its citizens somehow considering it the greatest nation. Beyond asinine. May God continue to pity merikkka and its sustained injustices to its black population.
If we could get all of these cops that have murdered unarmed black people convicted by a jury then maybe we can get Qualified Immunity abolished.

When I interview a job applicant I know in 5 minutes whether or not he'll be an asset to the community! The city is also at fault period
I wished the interview process was more considerate and thorough everywhere. I can only speak for myself having interviewed numerous times in California only to find out later that those very same departments hired dirtbags around the time I interviewed who later were up on charges. We reap what we sow. They sowed by hiring just young kids out of high school with chips on their shoulders..and they reaped the consequences on my community. Fortunately I was blessed by being hired by the government with amazing benefits ...and they actually honor veterans even though I was a prior military police officer...in a completely unrelated job. Irony.

He killed her and her mother and her father because soon as he killed her how her parents died from the pain and hurt that they losing their child he needs life.
He was going to be fired but yet still on active duty. What is desk duty for then, or did they ran out of desks, which isn't a good look for the whole department.

Normally cops talk to caller ( at the scene) to avoid this kind of tragedy but he was probably fearful & ready to shoot anything that moved. Shoot first ask questions later. Now he's going to jail

Disgusting verdict, this was a simple and cowardly murder, the person inside could not see anything that was outside because of the darkness, the policeman was not in any kind of danger since the person inside could not see him, therefore the only thing he should have done if he felt in ''danger'' was to run out of there and call for backup and not shoot a person who couldn't even see him, Coward and disgusting Little Man.

They (judges) keep thinking that they're doing these dirty cops cops favors. Just because it doesn't qualify for murder 1 because he was a cop and it wasn't premeditated does not mean that it was not murdered 2.

Was this at night? Was he in uniform? Well, you know that right to bear arms and stand your ground thing, this is what can happen. Someone around your place and YOU have a gun...
Yeah, it was really weird. It was like 3am or something and the front door was wide open. A neighbour called the cops to go check it out because that's definitely unusual. The cop didn't park out front. Didn't announce he was a cop and was outside looking through the windows with his weapon drawn. I think she picked up her own weapon and turned towards him when he shot her. He probably would have been in uniform but I doubt she saw considering the lights are on and its dark outside. I think he nephew was nearby and he said they were playing video games. Just a weird situation. I get the impression they both thought they were trying to rob the place. Except she was in her own home and he wasn't doing his job correctly, probably trying to catch her by surprise.
Edit: I think it was actually dark on the inside also.

He shouldn't have been charged with a crime the 911 call was the door was wide open which was suspicious she came towards him with a gun. He unfortunately used deadly force if she was a real criminal no charges against him how was he supposed to know she lived in the house

As a cop he was nervous, I think this deserves a new trial. I believe this was wrong, I believe they charged him because he is WHITE because a black man Shot a white woman in her pj's at home and the media, no one pick up her story.
