This show was too good for us.
Wander Over Yonder was such a special, once in a lifetime cartoon. It showed this tiny guy who could and would do anything to make the world a better place. It's so sad that this show was cancelled, as it had so much potential ahead of it. Wander and Sylvia will still be in my heart forever.
Animaniacs, the 90s Batman and Superman cartoons, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Trigun, Outlaw Star, Justice League...
They're all series that are at least as good to me as Wander Over Yonder, in their own way, so I recommend looking them up.
its rare to have a show that has its hero winning by being nice and non violent. its still somehow realistic to a n extent and you cant compare this to anything else but perhaps some christian shows.

Your wish is coming true with the main shows on Disney XD jumping to Disney Channel alongside with new cartoons.
It’s nice that a bigger network like Frederator is covering Wander Over Yonder’s cancellation and even acknowledging the social and philosophical message Craig McCracken wanted to break through to the modern day audience. That aspect of the show has been mostly overlooked all across the board, even by a lot of fans. I really hope people can look back at Wander-optimistically, maybe even while watching the third season-and realize how daring it was to try to teach altruism and a happier approach to life in a time where the landscape has become undeniably saturated with cynicism and melancholy.

Disney won't get rid of their sorry programs but Wander over Yonder was one of their best cartoons. It's just like my daughter's favorite show Girl meets world that was canceled and they keep shows that are just bad in the air. Disney XD has most if the animation shows and the Disney channel one or two. This needs to change!
Sadly they prefer making cheaper to produce sitcoms and don't even have good writers anymore (their sitcoms used to actually be funny back with suite life). Unfortunately they also push almost all of their animated shows into XD, a channel most people don't have which will likely give the shows less ratings than they deserve :(

I didn't get Wander Over Yonder at first, until I managed to watch a couple of the really good episodes, and read up on the characterization of Wander and Sylvia.
The Night/Day episode where Silvia is sleeping through the night in one half, and Wander sleeps through the day in the other half has some of the best slapstick animated comedy in a long time.
The episode where Wander gets split into the various fragments of his personality is another fantastic episode for what it reveals about why he's so nice.
Then there's the tearjerker of Silvia's return home, only to find that her father is gone already.
Last of all, the end of the Lord Dominator arc is also really great too!

It really sucks that the assholes at Disney canceled Wander Over Yonder. I bet that if it was popular as Gravity Falls and Steven Universe, it would have lasted 1 or 2 more seasons. Maybe they canceled it, because it was too good. But what ever the season, they fucked up hard. They need to bring this show back. Wander Over Yonder is truly an entertaining, and underrated show that deserves a change. Hell, I believe it's a better feel good show than MLP:FiM.

This was one of my favorite cartoons on Disney XD! I was really sad to hear about it's cancellation but I found some other great cartoons on different TV channels! It will always be a great cartoon in my mind and heart though!

Star vs is one of the best modern cartoons hands down. Yeah first few episodes start a little slow for it, but later episodes start to get really good. And season 2's last 2 episodes were amazing.

So... Disney cancels great shows like Tron: Uprising, Motor City and Wander Over Yonder, and yet they allow shows like Pickle and Peanut to come into existence? Why??!?

Disney said that they cancelled it because they thought 2 Seasons and 80 episodes was enough. I think the higher ups at Disney hated the show. I really wanted Season 3.
Technically if you take all the 15 minute episodes and put them together you'd end up with 40 30 minute episodes. as is there's 79 episodes altogether.

Nor do I want to be on Fox I guess as they won't be looking for that type of 'humour' I'd try to 'present', nor will Comedy Central accept me (but if they did, they'd can my show after 10 episodes only if the ratings sucked)...

update on that, the series is picked up by netflix. He now has morr creative freedom with Kid Cosmic. From what I've heard it's definitely a spiritual successor to Wander. It's a kid who wants finally becomes a hero after gaining powerful cosmic stones (Kind of like Wander with his hat).
I'd do anything to have Wander back, it's easily my favorite cartoon of all time.

It doesn't make sense. Wasn't Gravity Falls a serial show? Isn't Star vs. the Forces of Evil driven heavily by character continuity? Why would that be a problem with Wander Over Yonder?
That's true about Gravity Falls but the greater Alex Hirsh really had to struggle to get air time for Gravity Falls :/ and that show only had 2 seasons even though it ended well, I think I read somewhere that he wanted to do 3 season but the way Disney was acting he decided just to end it at 2
Well of course the show got less ratings on Disney XD, most people don't even have that channel. Disney pushes almost all of their animated series on XD to make more room for shitty sitcoms on the main channel (and they are really shitty nowadays, none even come close to the better sitcoms disney used to have like suite life. Sitcoms are only so big on nickelodeon and Disney channel because they're cheaper to produce and apparently don't require good writers anymore).

AAAHHH ! Wander over yonder should definetly have it's third season ! There's still hope with all those shows coming back recently.
This show actually was shown to me when I was depressed and alone. It turns out nothing made me smile but my best friend and the show. So they made me watch the show with my friend and then I was out of depression after 3 months. Thank this show, it's amazing and creative. Just wish minds will change and they'll make season 3. just imagine.
I loved wander as a kid, and i recently rewatched it, and loved it again. I wish it did get a third season, it made me very happy and i can safely say i am definitely one of the people whos depression was helped by this show. I dunno if we'll ever get any sort of new content for wander, but either way i loved it to bits

Monica Richiez it had a unique message too with all the hate going around the usa. The protagonist barely planned anything violent yet still won just by being nice and friendly. Then Disney said this show had "enough"??? whot??? heck no, this is what the generation needss!

I've missed this show a lot - optimism and kindness is a truly underrated thing in this day and age, and a character like Wander is just what we need for both kids and adults to look up to. There's show much to this show and its characters that's been overlooked by many... Here's hoping they bring back the show...

Star is a great show, and so is Wander. It's just Disney's opinions on their shows. (That's a HUGE problem. As a tv network, they should listen to the public or the ratings than their own opinions.) It sucks that I only now learn about Wander Over Yander. Maybe one more veiwer would have done something.
You especially have to feel bad for Craig McCracken since while there's a cheap knockoff of one of his shows airing on Cartoon Network right now (which he has no involvement in), he has nothing to work on

I know I’ve commented before and it’s 2018. I just feel so horrible that I never even noticed how beautiful this show was. Whenever this show was on in 2013 I didn’t even care. I was sitting on the couch on my phone while this amazing show was on. I feel like an idiot. I forgot how I met with the show again, but now it’s still my favorite. I am never EVER giving up until the show comes back. Neither should you. Wander helped us from being depressed, and made us better people. He helped us so much, and now it’s our turn to help him. Because like he says, it never hurts to help!

I can actually see an underlying theme of Season 3 being both episodic in parts, but also having an underlying "Dominator slowly learns that good feels good, and how to be good, in the face of loneliness and an even bigger evil." theme, as well as other silliness.
Actually(according to my opinion), the finale of season 2 could really function as satisfying series finale since there was neither a major storyline nor an cliff hanger at the end

I only learned about Wander Over Yonder this past month, years after it was cancelled, because RUclips suggested "I'm the Bad Guy" which is an absolutely wonderful villain(ness) song.

I definitely think it should be brought back. I'm one of the people who this show helped in terms of dealing with mental health issues (depression, anxiety, helper syndrome, AD(H)D, OCD, all things that the show maybe unintentionally dealed with perfectly).
I agree that this kind of positivity, optimism and kindness is what the world needs. On top of that the animation, character designs and colour pallettes used are absolutely stunning! I'd love nothing more than for this show to make a comeback!
Its hard to pick a favourite from the cast because all of them are so likeable. But my favourite charecthers were defiently Wander and Dominator. Theres so much potential for this series to grow especially after the finale. My favourite episodes were The Wanders, The Good Deed, and the Fugitives,

I actually know the reason that was canceled. The main part was this, they couldnt get a toy license for it. I kid you not that was the major reason why.
That and they wanted to make the show more like Ben Ten from what I hear but the show was too far into production to be changed to fit more that demographic.
I think they was an issue behind why they couldn't, but i don't know the exact details.
Symbionic Titan was financially written off by Cartoon Network as a tax loss so therefore can never be legally aired again the same goes with Megas XLR

it sounds more like disney wanted to make room on the main channel to show shitty live action stuff. And then make an excuse to cancel the show because of low ratings. Oh look we moved your show to a different channel that isn't as popular as our main channel. hmmm your ratings suddenly dropped...people must hate your show. CANCELLED!

They did a marathon thing recently of the whole show on Disney XD. I missed a lot of it though since I was camping for most of it. I have high hopes of them running it again though.
I feel like theres was so much to Wanders back story, that was met to be in the next season. I would love for it to make a comeback, and be renewed for at least one more season, if not two. I just watched it for the first time, I feel like I relate to Wander so much. Hes basically my spirit animal. I even signed that petition after watching the entire series. But its been five years, since the show has been off the air. Maybe if we're lucky, and we hope hard enough, it'll come back.

Channel Fred don't forget the fact that in season 2 air time was horrible. They mainly aired about 12am (sometimes). Mostly at 11pm with second season.
I like how they would abruptly cancel WOY as fast as possible, but they would slowly let pickle and peanut go on longer and more painfully

This was one of my favorite shows, Wander was always so helpful and always tried to find the good in Hater and Dominator. Wander encouraged me to help people whenever they need it and to have a positive outlook on life.

Nowadays; networks prefer cheaply made, eleven minute episodes that are filled with meme references, offensive stereotypes and fart humor.
Just look at the Powerpuff reboot, Toddler Titans (Titans Go) and the poorly thought up cash grab of a series inspired (and I use the term loosely) by Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. All these shows do is make the viewers angry.
That is to say, it is mostly the adult viewers who get angry. According to the "fans" of the shows I've mentioned. Programming is now more oriented toward little kids. Kids who don't want shows that make them think or feel things they're unfamiliar with.
People are playing it safe far too much.
Which is why Wander should come back. Not only does it provide a positive message. But it shows off its comedy in a tasteful and timeless way.

I found a video tittled "Are Tangled, Frozen and The Little Mermaid Connected?"From a channel I've never herd of.I liked the video.I went to the channel and I amidiatly fell in love with the fantastic content. Wander Over Yonder is probably one of the most underrated shows to emerge from the plethora of Disney cartoons. It's a shame that Disney decided to cancel it. This show could have gone so far if only it was confirmed for a third season.

I barely remembered this show's existence. Saw only about 3 episodes (all from S1) and actually kind of enjoyed the show. If it ever shows up on streaming I would definitely watch through the series.
