Frank Angones: "The main arc of season 3 was centered around the arrival of a new danger that was even more of a threat than Dominator, meant to challenge Wander in every possible way. Season 2 was all about a bully showing up. Season 3 was about something worse than a bully. "We loved the main four bouncing off each other in The Robomechabotatron so much that we had a way to stick them all together for a lot of Season 3."
Objectively the best Craig McCraken show and possibly one of the best Disney cartoons. There's so much fun you can have with this show. I think part of the reason why this show is better than PPG and Fosters is because it was made by Disney as opposed to Warner Bros/Cartoon Network. This might be hard to believe, considering the quality of Star vs fourth season, but Disney shows are historically more consistent in quality than the shows from Cartoon Network, which usually have shows that quickly go downhill in like four or five seasons. It might've had more seasons in CN, but considering their track record, I don't think it wouldn't be as fondly remembered. It's not that they don't have consistently good shows, it's just not to the extent where it's like Disney.
I have a VERY special connection to this show, before I watched it in late 2014 I was depressed as I was in middle school and I hated it, I was getting constantly bullied and becoming more bitter, it also didn’t help I also had Pneumonia around the same time too. I saw that Wander Over Yonder was on and I decided ehhh why not nothing else is on anyway, so I watched the episode The Lonely Planet and I smiled so much in a way I hadn’t before I was entranced in the characters specifically Wander. After I finished I was hooked and watched the series throughout the next year as the second season was coming up, I also became more happy and being optimistic and when the day came for the season 2 premiere I watched it live and managed catch every episode when they first aired every Monday. But when I heard that the show was cancelled after it’s second season I was both sad and angry because Disney mistreated the show by switching channels, it also didn’t help that they ended it on a cliffhanger which I was furious about, to this day I still have a grudge against Disney for how they treated the show. But today I still watch it and was so ecstatic when it FINALLY came to Disney+, the show has shaped me into who I am today, and is one of the reasons I decided to get serious on being a filmmaker. I hope one day it returns to finish the series off properly especially nowadays with the all the hate and horrible things going on in the world we need a show like Wander Over Yonder to return. All I can say now is thank you Craig… thank you.
Ah if only it got that last season, what was planned, what they'd already accomplished oh if only, though with all the episodes that are there it's nothing less than incredible
My fav episode is The Breakfast In which presents a morning routine of the optimist Wander vs the pessimist Hater... This episode made me realize that Hater was a marvelous unique character and I loved it
After this, I can't wait for you to get around to Kid Cosmic eventually! AKA Craig McCracken's peak, as that's the only show so far that he was freely allowed to tell the story he wanted to tell....
Honestly I hope in the future we get at least a Enter The Florpus Style/Movie for Wonder Over Yonder in the future and honestly I think Wander Over Yonder End it pretty good
Very nice vid! ^v^ As someone who was in the fandom from the beginning, it's always nice to hear more positive praise for this show. Personally though, I prefer s1 over s2, if only because I feel like the storyline with Dominator - as well as her characterization in general - could have been a lot better, and I just enjoy the simplicity of s1. s2 still has some really good eps though, like The Black Cube, The Cartoon, the Whole... Lotta Nuthin', and Eye on the Skullship. Personally I had fun with both The Hero (despite Brad being such a dick, haha) and The Loose Screw, but I agree that the Big Job (as well as its sister episode, the Helper) are two of the least good eps of the series.
0:34. Personally, DTVA is very consistent with show quality no matter what decade you're in. I mean, sure, the 2010s had some of the best Disney shows to offer, but it also had the most middling or flat out mediocre or debatably horrible shows from the studio.
I feel like Wander Over Yonder being done on Flash gives it another similarity to the Galaxy games. They both had to use increasingly outdated tech, yet look much better than your average Flash or Wii game (heck many 2007 games, just compare it to Mass Effect 1).
I wanna watch it but Whoops! Disney doesn't like my country and doesn't let me watch their cartoons, nor could I do it even if I wanted because it costs 11 dollars per month. And I cannot find any free way
This show looks like a Hanna-Barbera cartoon. I mean Craig McCracken did work at Hanna-Barbera when you said it was a Animated in flash, it doesn’t look like it
I love people talking about WOY. Its such a great show, but just out of curiosity, where did you get the name "delza" for the cat? Every time ive seen her shes called "little bits". Im probably just spelling it wrong or something
I van never pick my favorite episode, all of them are just so good, but I do know my tops are My Fair Hatey and The Axe. I just really like Hater and Peepers lol. Don't get me wrong, Wander and Syliva are amazing characters, but Peepers and Hater are some of the greatest "vilians" that Disney ever had, and may never get again because their shows are becoming plain and boring with basic vilians that don't have as much fun with their characters that WOY did. But, if I had to list them it'd be: 1. My Fair Hatey(I'm a theater kid, so seeing my favorite characters in a musical episode was mind blowing to me.) 2. The Axe 3. The Void I love the show so much, it's way to hard to pick a solid favorite episode.
Super unpopular opinion: a lot of times i cant stand wander himself. For someone so selfless he can be completely self-serving to the point that i found it infuriating. Time and again he ignores sylvia, his best friend's, well being for the sake of strangers and even shows hes willing to let Sylvia and even the entire galaxy die in favor of upholding his ideals.
Unpopular opinion: As much as I enjoy Powerpuff Girls, Foster's and Kid Cosmic, I personally think Wander Over Yonder is McCracken's best work.
It's shouldn't be unpopular. You are right.
@@badpinkupliness I agree; this is the best Craig McCraken show. And I didn't even watch Kid Cosmic to know this fact, lol.
I'm miss this show
Agreed!

Ah yes, considered to be McCracken's underrated and mistreated show.

This was great! I can’t wait for T.U.F.F. Puppy!
5:52 hold up, Zbornak? Was that taken from The Golden Girls?
yup!! and to top that off, Sylvia's mother in "The Family Reunion" is revealed to be named Dorothy, bringing the reference full circle

I’m gonna say an opinion that’s probably gonna get me murdered. Wander over yonder is better than gravity falls and phineas and ferb.
