Poor Martin Short kept being put into animated films and his comedic talents were completely misused every time. And then M3 turned up, and finally did the poor man justice. That sea lion is mad, I love him.
The crash scene from Madagascar 2 is probably one of the funniest in DreamWorks' whole filmography. Everything the penguins say is comedy gold: "Sir, it appears we've run out of fuel." "What makes you say that?" "We've lost Engine 1, and Engine 2 is no longer on fire." "Attention, people, this is your captain speaking. I've got good news and bad news. The good news is we'll be landing immediately. The bad news? ...We're crash landing." "In case of an emergency, please place your oxygen masks over your face to hide your terrified expressions from the other passengers." "How many did we lose, Kowalski?" "Only two people unaccounted for, Skipper." "That's a number I can live with!"
I remember as a kid not knowing for years who Jada and David Schimmer were. Friends in the 90s was just one of many cable shows in Puerto Rico, and the whole joke in the trailer is that Melman is voices by "that guy from that tv show".
Okay, before I watch the rest of the video… IS THE GUN IN THE THUMBNAIL IN ALEX’S HAND A DIRECT REFERENCE TO WHAT I THINK IT IS? LMAOOO Aleecks deh LayION.
Hot take but I think The Madagascar Trilogy’s DreamWorks’ best trilogy. The first two tv shows were great shows and are easily one of DreamWorks’ best. Madagascar A Little Wild on the other hand… sucks.
The orchestral soundtrack is amazing. I remember hearing this and The Incredibles' end credits constantly.
"Moto Moto is Love,Moto Moto is Life"

The first movie was my favourite film for a while as a young kid. Saw the 2nd and 3rd ones theatrically
These movies really got me to "Move It, Move It."
39:28 "Alex De Lion, What da hail are you doing in my car"
