As the demo is coming to an end, here are some of the best touge roads the demo has to offer! And that is only half of the map! Timeline: 0:00 - Victoria Peak 3:37 - Magazine Gap 5:28 - Mount Davis
Of all the open world racing games available right now, TDUSC has the best map design. I just wish they add more traffic and pedestrian to make it feel more alive.
I think the dev team did a great job with the map. It's got a ton of interesting and memorable routes with proper banking in the chicanes. I mean 5:00 is just gorgeous.
Yeah, while performance isn't the only issue, it's a big one they have to work on.. I unfortunately couldn't try on my PC rn, but on a friend's PC with a GTX 1080, he only got around 25fps at 1080p Low.. 😮 But it's weird; he only gets 50-65% GPU usage, no matter the preset or resolution. And medium settings result in about the same fps as low IIRC. But it's not CPU Limit, because decreasing resolution to 720p bumps up framerates to around 40.. 🤔
Well, they did say the demo was of an early version of the game hmm.. Showcasing the game before certain issues were already fixed. The remaining issues they are probably currently working on
Hear me out, I really wich they add pedestrians just to make it feel even more alive, but listen, they could add a side activity where crowds of people are plsced outside a cinema, or restaurants, clubs or even at car shop parking lot , and then you have to rev your car or do a burnout or a pass and you get points for style and they take photos of your car
From what I'm observing here, game seems to be strongly grip-focused. Drifting/powersliding snuffs your car out and it's not very "fluid/flowy" like you can engage only in short bursts of drifts/slides before the car dies, so the only reasonable moment to rely on it would be those strong hairpin corners which you're entering at high speeds, so the time loss for slowing down to grip it, vs slowing down less but drifting it out is miniscule.
I love this game even with its flaws. It really has great potential, many have criticized it but they will certainly be the first to play it when it comes out

@@machspeed20 Have you ever thought to yourself that you actually feel G-forces on a rental kart compared to a video game? How are you going to gauge speed with controller and wheel?
@kak8895 okay better example; I feel more sense of speed driving down the highway at 70 mph then I do traveling at top speed in modern racing games, this was not a problem back then, try explaining that.
This same RUclipsr did a video at 200mph in an Aston Martin, and the sense of speed looked proper. I'd argue it's probably the best for any racing game today.
Forza looks sounds and drives better.
And yet the map is so painfully boring I stopped playing after like, 5 days and went back to assetto corsa. At this point I'd just take anything over fh 5.
@@edgelord121Awesome, you left a more fleshed out game to loop around Shutoku for 30 minutes and get bored. How smart. You probably just hated the product to begin with.
Fh5 map is quite boring
@@kak8895 no, that map was just bland af. I'm no Forza hater. I even liked fh4 somewhat. But they're playing too safe. I want a proper cityscape now.
@@kak8895 and if you're talking about assetto you're just so horribly wrong. The modding community is insane, I have hundreds of different tracks of my choice. And the physics is so much better than forza it's not even close.
i feel like map design was made by AI [ buildings, streets, trees. etc... ], i've dealt with AI before and i know how it do things.
Is anyone seriously excited by the gameplay? This game is such a let down
The Cars in front doesn't cast headlights on the road garbage game
Este juego será un gran fracaso, no me queda duda.
i honestly prefer the old physics of td better. This looks like a ios game smh.
To bad the game feels nothing like a TDU game, feeling like a cheap knock off from the games we loved. Map is awful as well. A huge letdown for TDU fans everywhere.
Map is amazing. It feels like tdu. You came from twitter.
Solar crown 💩💩
The creators of the game bragged soooo much about this game having better physics than Forza Horizon, and yet this game physics are garbage! It;s a big NO for me if they don;t fix the freaking physics. This was supposed to be a simulator,, not a cheap, stupid arcade BS!
Test Drive Unlimited was never a simulator.
Physics ain't bad
Your mama
Why all games have wider roads ?
The only reasonable wide roads are NFS
fr
Wider roads so that it is easier to avoid collision, it's like this in most open world racing games, it's cringe but that's how most of the casual playerbase like it
@@leprodeGT4 forza horizion 4 had small and tight roads 😂 nfs most wanted and small roads but was a tad big enough for you to avaiod collusions. so, no, not all games have wide roads.
@@youtubeisracistx fh4 did not have tight road lol, uk roads are way tighter than this, and most wanted was a billion years ago
There are many tight roads in the game.
The handling is lowkey giving off Driveclub vibes, It would be peak gaming if they bring back that game
