I've had a history of pain attacks in my prostate, but I've brought it under control by noting what I'd eaten before one of these attacks. Dairy is definitely a factor although butter doesn't seem to be a problem for me, whereas yogurt seems to bring it on. Other foods that caused these short lived pain attacks were hot dogs. I haven't had a hotdog in 25 years, and I don't miss them. I avoid the cheeses for sure. I don't eat soy, or anything made from it. I consume no oils. As far as I am aware, pumpkin seeds are good for the prostate. Anyway, vegetable oils are very good for the heart. Especially olive oil, but not only. Their anti-oxidant effect is very valuable for the body.
Of the 4 offenders, I was very sparse on dairy, sugar and soy. However, I did indulge in veg oils, which were in peanuts and potato chips. Bottled water causes an increase in prostate size too due to the plastic particles. And tap water has fluoride added to it, so if you don't have well water, even the water is really bad for you..
In my experience the main cause of prostate problems is constipation caused by lack of exercise. Running boosts testosterone and lowers estrogen. Second you must eat more greens, mainly for chlorophyll, which absorbs toxins and keeps the bowels moving, the best way to do this is make a green smoothie every second day with a banana and any green you can find like parsley, dandelion, etc. You can buy chlorophyll powder...add that as well. Third is the hardest...reduce your alcohol intake and prostate should shrink after couole of weeks.

Interesting. The only point for me is that, without being a veggie nutcase, I try, as far as I can, to replace meat with tofu, which is made from soy. Any thoughts, Doc? I like your channel!!
Nutrition is very complex. The problem with this kind of advice is that some foods to avoid also have advantages. When you get older, eating dairy, soy is very good to prevent osteoporosis. So it is necessary to mention alternative substitutes.

Hey Doc, I’ve never been a big cheese fan until I started Keto. I started eating more cheese to increase my “healthy fat” intake. I too had the slower stream occurring but never tied it to dairy. Would you suggest leaving the dairy and maybe increase the MCT oil intake as a supplement?
i am by no means an expert, i am 45 with more than 20 years of prostate problems and i am not saying he doesn't know much about health, but from my experience i would have to disagree with some things he said, he is def correct about trying limit your sugar intake as much as possible (honey is a better option) and he might be right about the veg oil, that i don't know ,but in japan my GF gave me soy isoflavone supplements (1 day) that were quite helpful and i don't believe that dairy products are necessarily bad..in moderation of course, and not processed
Hi. I have an idea. I reduced eating dairy and oil very much. I like eating bread and tomato, usually with some onion for more health. I can add good olive oil. I can survive many meals that way. Lentil soup with bread soacks is also a meal. Humus with bread. Best wishes.

Does testosterone converting to DHT then into estrogen cause the prostate to enlarge, usually for older men. I read elevated estrogen in the prostate wrecks havoc for aging men and another reason men gain weight and have a hard time losing weight because of the testosterone converting too fast into estrogen. Does getting an STI once make it easier to get bacteria and resurgent urine infections that cause prostatitis. I read getting an STI can damage the prostate for some men. Also, for some men not all, does seminal fluid retention cause swelling of the prostate. Does a prostate massage relieve prostatitis.
Thanks. That’s great info. Now, I’m on a plant based diet. I rely quite heavily on soy products like tofu, tempeh, TVP, edamame, for some protein. In my research, I leaned one has to eat an unreasonable amount (way more than an average consumption) of soy and soy products to have any effect on the prostate. Could you shed a light on this issue?

Interesting. The only point for me is that, without being a veggie nutcase, I try, as far as I can, to replace meat with tofu, which is made from soy.
Any thoughts, Doc?
I like your channel!!
Nutrition is very complex. The problem with this kind of advice is that some foods to avoid also have advantages. When you get older, eating dairy, soy is very good to prevent osteoporosis. So it is necessary to mention alternative substitutes.
To the doctor I’ve had the prostate T.U.R.P surgery December 2016 now all of a sudden I am craving milk cheese and dairy products is that normal and thank you for the rest of the stuff I didn’t know that about the subway in vegetable oil‘s new sugar doesThanks again
what about cranberry juice? i saw some info that cranberry juice has a lot of antioxidants that help with urinary issues and can help get bacteria out of bladder thus helping to reduce inflammation
but it naturally has a lot of sugar?
low sugar cranberry juice exists
Cranberry tablets.
@@yarposI used diet cranberry juice..no sugar
Very informative, thx Dr. Berg
I did the same damned thing.
Thank you very much for such a great information. Very helpful, thank you again. 😎
Very glad to be of help.
Can you make a video of what you eat
thank you
Thank you so much for the info Dr. God bless you!!!
Thanks Dr. Berg!
I am 60, wow, this eliminates 60 percent of my diet 🥴
i am by no means an expert, i am 45 with more than 20 years of prostate problems and i am not saying he doesn't know much about health, but from my experience i would have to disagree with some things he said, he is def correct about trying limit your sugar intake as much as possible (honey is a better option) and he might be right about the veg oil, that i don't know ,but in japan my GF gave me soy isoflavone supplements (1 day) that were quite helpful and i don't believe that dairy products are necessarily bad..in moderation of course, and not processed
Hi. I have an idea. I reduced eating dairy and oil very much. I like eating bread and tomato, usually with some onion for more health. I can add good olive oil. I can survive many meals that way. Lentil soup with bread soacks is also a meal. Humus with bread. Best wishes.
@@kevinlewis8162 at 25 years old then, you already had a prostate problem?!

*.....Same thing Doc Wallock and Pharmacist Ben Fukes recommend on coast to coast AM radio show....* They are on every 3 weeks at 1:05 am EST. One internet radio station is 92.5FM Estero Florida. It is the most listened to overnight radio show in America. It has been on for about 30-40 years on about 600 radio stations now. Rush Limbaugh is the number one daytime radio show. Doc Wallock is the smartest doctor I know
Does testosterone converting to DHT then into estrogen cause the prostate to enlarge, usually for older men.
For salads use Bragg Organic Vinegrette dressing with apple cider vinegar.
No dairy
No vegetable oils
No sugars
No soy
You are welcome!!
Thank u people that do this save me time 👍🇦🇺

Not long before you hit 2 mill. Congrats Team Berg you fricken deserve it!!!
Thank you for the valuable recommendations.
Glad you liked the content!
Good information, thank you. I have a question, so if I cut the dairy out of my diet will my prostate shrink? Thank you
look into iodine.
Read 'the iodine crisis' by Lynne Farrow.
OMG I thought you were going to say whisky.
Combine the restrictions of a cardiac diet, a kidney failure diet, a diabetic diet, and now this one and the ONLY thing left is WHISKEY.
Whiskey
I thought whiskey was made from corn ( syrup ) 🌽
LMAO
Thank you.
Interesting side note, I had a lot of bad season allergies and even eczema and after eliminating milk, pretty much all my allergies went away to the point I don't need meds anymore. Inflammation sucks though, everything you buy that's affordable is GMO and chemical ridden trash for the body.
Thanks
