I think the lowering springs aesthetically make the car look better, but how do you get around town in crap roads being that low? I wouldn't be able to get into my driveway, that has been why I have yet to do it to my GTI. Very Nice R, I like how its simple and clean. That appeals to me more than the boy racer look👍
The 7.5 R is actually 20mm lower than the GTI, and 15mm lower than the 2016-2017 Golf R. Smart folks don’t lower it. Better dampers if desired, but the ride height is pretty bang-on out of the box. Usable on public roads and track days.
Typing this as someone who does professional chassis calibration and competitive driving on this platform. 😎 #MQB-Love
@@TheTexican05 Actually this is not correct, the Golf R is 20mm lower than a Golf, the GTI is 15mm lower than a Golf making the R 5mm lower than a GTI. Facts right off the VW spec sheet.

I'm English and even I'm not sure. I think its more Manchester but could be from in between the two. You'd be surprised how much accents change in a very short distance in Britain 😮

Like the design of wings but colour match is poor.
I build / paint as a bolt on service, colour match will always be out, the bonnet / wings were fresh painted the day before this filming, the rest of the car wasn’t machine polished etc, so there’s always that risk.
Not enough to post a comment on here about it though, unless you can paint match better edge to edge without the car present 🫶🏼
Cosmetic bodywork, engine upgrades and standard brakes with cosmetic suspension mods great combination (good luck @ the ring)

The manual gear box on a 7R is meh. I hated it. I upgraded to a 7.5R DSG and it's much better

I owned a c63 6.2 w204 and I raced a stock golf r mk7, I won but only buy a car length, the golf r packs a punch stock for only being 296bhp never mind this stage 2, this would have smoked me, nice build and spec ❤

How is the speed of hers compare to the 45?
Well 360 vs 420 init mate but if you stage 2 a45 properly faster just preference my mate got the a45 pre-facelift 👍🏻

great choice morgan lol i have the vw golf estate version 7.5 in white just like yours but keeping it stock form lol there is so much you can do and the take offs are incredible i got a speeding ticket the first one in 40 years driving and after i had the car for 2 weeks but now owning the car for over 2 years and still loving it , do tell us when you upgrade to stage 3 , regards

Exactly lol, dyno must've been very happy. IS38's are prone to go with stock boost let alone around 1.8bar at 423bhp.
