I was on 6.1.D.R19 (facelift Peugeot 208 2016), updated to SMEG 6.3.0.R6 as the newest one has a bug with the FM radio apparently. I had CarPlay enabled before, it was still enabled after the update. It didn't seem to need configuring, but on the vehicle information page had some extra buttons (shown in this video). I booked it into the dealer, they did the configuration and charged me for 15 minutes of work which removed those extra buttons.

Hey, I uploaded the files to my purgout 208 2015. It’s worked but every time I plug my phone in to use the car play it crashes the whole system and resets it self.

Hi Pedro I'm okay thank you, How are you 😎 on yours SEMG 3 you only can update to 3-version and this one is 6 series for that you need to replace multimedia box - but his is not easy please see my other video show you how to do

Hello again 😁, I have installed the firmware SMEG 5.43.A.R2 that you recommend on to a Sandisk Cruiser Blade 16gb that has been formatted to FAT 32. I plugged in the pendrive into the 2008's USB with the engine running and got a message come up on the touchscreen which said, "Warning unreadable disk". Please help?

Hoping you will answers this but I doubt it i updated to this version today as a new car I got instantly started doing this after one bout with my phone on Bluetooth but I have now lost half of the features
Only have fm dab crashes it and no Bluetooth or connected services

So I did the original update from your first video but my dab wouldn't work then I did this video to upgrade to cd31210 and now all I have is fm any other updates after this one please

Hi This for SMEG system update only
I have read that the SMEG units only do Applecarplay & Mirrorlink only, you have to purchase a brand new headunit for about €380 which is then compatible with Androidauto.
can you use any usb to do this?

Czyli jeśli dobrze rozumiem brak w moim radiu odpowiedniego modułu/oprogramowania? Czy raczej całe radio należałoby wymienić? Bardzo prosiłbym o rade. Chciałbym mieć tutaj chociaż mirror linka żeby bardziej wykorzystać ten ekran. Pozdrawiam serdecznie
@@elitehulk431 Hej tak trafiłeś :) jeżeli chcesz miec mirror link możesz go zainstalować na wybranych modelach oryginalnych SMEG jak wyżej na filmie jedna grze nigdy nie zadziała jak należny taka sugestia z mojego doświadczenia ale w prosty sposób zmienisz original na fajny oparty na ANDROID i dobrze działający moduł, powodzenia i również pozdrawiam 😎
