hey m8! Im really glad to see you reviewing new bikes other than Harley; that's a good and wise call. keep it up, fella, and good speed. greetings from Russia/
Amazed at all the negative comments regarding how this thing looks 😂 It’s unique. Not everyone’s cup of tea for sure, but it’s not supposed to be; neither is it trying to be for the mass market. The engine is great, the DVT is good and the bike in the “S” version leaves not much left to be desired; especially with the race exhaust. By the way this is my totally biased opinion because I own a Diavel 1260S! 🤣 Btw, great review! You should try the Quickshifter on the “S”.
Good to see a review of the non S model. I had an Xdiavel S and am looking to get a 1260 but wasn’t sure if the extra money was worth it for the S model given i only really ride on weekends. Clearly the base model would be just fine
“Going to Hastings”....as in the Battle of Hastings place? I’d love to ride and see that place. Is there a monument or anything there from that battle?
Lovely bit of Italian magnificence, if I was getting one I would go for the S version, mainly for the belt drive, after countless chain & sprocket machines in my rider history, I really like belt drive as on my Fatboy. Wait till you test a Panigale, so much power (maybe too much). Nice review Mark ,
The Ducati looks better in terms of curves and with the Termignoni exhaust, it sounds orgasmic. The Triumph is a good bike but, it has no exhaust sound and weighs several tonnes.
If a Chinese brand had come out with this design first it would've been largely ignored, nothing about it looks right to me. Each to their own. Hope you're well Mark :)
You'll get used to mid controls, just takes 5/10mins to re-orientate yourself. Happens every time I open the garage and choose a different bike from the previous day 😅
Pretty Pretty!!! Country backroad pavement eater !!! Price and standard maintenance fees will kill the enthusiasm for most buyers, but it is what it is ! Sharp review, Thanks !!! 😎
Canny review 👍🏻a no you have to change ; But 🙈☹️a liked your shaws oops Sykes reviews & Working wid them : something has gone Pete tong hasn’t it 🤔 Al still watch the odd 1 keep safe all the best mark 🍺
They're not flats and putting raised bars on a bike would make it look stupid and handle badly. While you're at it why not add a rocking chair on top, a Singer sewing machine for an engine and carriage lamps front and rear and call it a Harley :-)
I can't see how a forward foot position would be comfy, not only does it put you into the clamshell position, it also can't be good for your back plus it makes the rider look rediculous.
The Diavel has won both the prestigious European and the American Good Design Award now so it looks like it's just a few Harley owners who think it looks ugly, so that's confirmation that it's beautiful.
You were in the wrong gears for most of the review haha, unlike other cruisers, you don't need to be in 5th gear at 60 miles or km/ hour man. This bike sits in the 45-60 range in third, and MAYBE fourth after that until about 85-90. You put the diavel too high and it'll chug in the high gears because you're going too slow.
I have a 2021, Diavel 1260s in red and it's beautiful, really stunning with classic sweeping curves, muscular presence and huge rear tyre, those Italians know a thing or two about design. Unlike you it would seem.
When I think about Ducati I think Maybe Monster,888,Panigale,Desmo Sport or Racing.Classic Ducati styling. This bike is the least attractive thing I've ever seen.Might ride o.k but I can't deal with the look of it.It's like the Sang Yong of the Bike world.Sorry but I wouldn't buy one.
Italian design excellence, beautiful sweeping curves, muscular shoulders and a fantastic presence. Sure it's always down to personal preference, just as I'm no fan of flock wallpaper, ornate fountains in the front garden and gold plated Rolls. In this case, though, I think you're in the minority.
I vent from Harley to this bike, and I absolutely love my 1260S.
When I got up this morning and saw the notification on my iPad I had to look 5x to make sure it was you!!!! Good one...

FYI the Ducati X Diavel is a forward control version of the same bike 😜👍

Nice to see you looking over the fence. Maybe you might get the opportunity to ride a few Triumphs while you are at it? Keep up the good work.
“Going to Hastings”....as in the Battle of Hastings place? I’d love to ride and see that place. Is there a monument or anything there from that battle?
good to see something different...... Well done Moto

Geoff Oz Evans they are not belt drive anymore , chain and sprockets now on the newer ones
@@montha123 thanks bud 👍👍
For looks the new Triumph Rocket 3R kills it but I prefer a bike that I can enjoy riding at 60 mph.
Triumphs are cheaply built shite though? Not in the same league as ducati.
The Ducati looks better in terms of curves and with the Termignoni exhaust, it sounds orgasmic. The Triumph is a good bike but, it has no exhaust sound and weighs several tonnes.
This boy is cool.
Great video, I've always wanted to try one of these, are you going to try the Ducati XDiavel S?
Main beam seemed to be on? Also whats up with the left hand handlebar weight?
Do you think they could make the roads more narrow?
dude which harley you used to ride and what do you currently ride?

Could you do a triumph speed twin review
cool vid bro, what's the price of it?
sorry to say but you should test the Ducati X Diavel S model, not this one.
Rocket III
Great vid. Not sure about that fst front end though. To me it looks like it's an electric bike 😂

Nothings gone wrong fella still doj g reviews with the guys at sykes. I want to bring more brands and variation onto the channel.
I'd have to put a screen and some Z bars or raised bars. Couldn't live with those flats.

Check out a Triumph Speed Twin.
slide me in
do not do a lil person review do one for me .....grown 6 6 360 lbs
I thought about getting a Ducati until I saw the price of services. Way out of my league!!
No big difference when they have service once 15000km and the desmo service at 30000km.
I'd love to ride 1 but would never buy 1
Try the Kawasaki H2R:p
check Jared campisi channej US youtuber he is done a bunch of Ducatis.
It will look great when it’s finished 🤪
?
Look at those terrible cow path roads coupled with left hand driving....sssooo ddduuummmbbb.
The xdiavel is literally a better fat bob
Cannot fault it in terms of performance but jeez it's an ugly looking mish-mash of a bike. Give me a Harley any day. Thanks
Harley.... not many of them getting around.

@@TheAgalmic Each to their own I guess! Happy riding.
@@markhenry192 Thank you Mark, now we just need some sun and a vaccination or two.

I have 2015 red carbon with full termi and agree with you 😂😂😂

@@TheAgalmic Agreed. Best looking bike on the planet imho.
Thats is goddamn ugly... but would out perform any Harley.. all depends what you are looking for?
This bike is beautiful, what Italian design school did you attend?
@@TheAgalmic apologies for having an opinion. I’ll check in with you next time for the right answer.
@@nigeloscarmarsden Thanks, that would probably be a good idea :-)
Time to unsubscribe, only started watching as you were a Harley driver. Have fun bye bye
