You are correct about the long drives and that seat looks to be more comfortable for the long haul but I do like the OEM seat better with red stitching. Stay safe my friend!
Thanks Robert. Tomorrow I'm putting four hours on a water filled seat cushion. LOL. This one should be an interesting review! Hope it doesn't leak under me.
I was looking for a comfort seat for my Diavel 1260s however I like the looks of the OEM so much better. for 300 bucks I guess its ok but would want to have some more reviews done with longer distances and more usage to really say its worth it or not. Corbin and some other brands are over $600 beans and I am not a huge fan of there styling.
Like you said, the comfort seat isnt softer, but it is more supportive. I have one, but have since switched back to the stock seat because I disliked the added height on the comfort seat, after riding on both seats the comfort seat had me feeling like I was riding on top of the bike, more so than the stock one. I would probably switch if I rode more than 2-3 hours, but since I switched back to the stock seat all my rides have been 2 hours or less. Eventually I may just sell the comfort seat and go for another brand or custom seat that has different padding material with a lower profile.
Hi. Thank you for uploading videos about Ducati Diavel 1260s. I remember that you did an oil change video but couldn’t find it anymore. Is there a way that I can watch that video again?
It's in the works right now. The tuner needed another week but I'm going up Monday. I'll try to post Monday night but may need another day to test and edit footage. We're gonna test it out thoroughly :)
Thanks for the video. Shame the comfort seat loses the styling cues of the 1260S seat. I take it the seat has grown on you, I recall your first impressions were it was too firm? I'm short 5'5" tall but want to improve comfort on my 1260S. It says the comfort seat is 40mm taller which might make the bike too tall for shorter riders? Any advice please?
I ended up sending mine back (got it on Amazon originally). But I may buy it again in the future. It kind of grew on me after watching this video. But I have a few more lower cost options I'm reviewing so stay tuned. But yes I think this will add a small amount of height on the rider but nothing substantial to affect the riding experience IMHO. So I do recommend it. I'll probably buy one and just use it for longer trips in the near future.
Hey Brother HNY to you and yours state side. Here in the UK it's in single digits so making sure the diavel doesn't suffer road salt burn during our cooler days
Yeah it's pretty insane how it looks like a drone following me. I'm really wearing a big belt that has a pole sticking out (around 4-5') and because it's directly under the camera, the camera hides it. Pretty cool. It's the GoPro Max 360.
Both seats kill my ass! The comfort seat feels like its pushing you forward all the time although I like the added height. An Airhawk with very little air in it works OK and can save you from abandoning the bike after two hours ride but not great if you're going around twisties. Sargent might be good but they look very plain. Corbin seams to be the only real alternative for the possibility of comfort. Might just get one to use for long distance rides.
@@DucatiDiaries lol Yeah I've given that idea some thought too. I've gone back and forth on the Corbin seat idea. They do seem like a company that doesn't give one if they get it wrong which is a concern having to buy online and ship across the border. Emailed them twice, no reply and my phone call was put on hold for a long time. Many bad reviews if you look. Really not sure were to go next. Maybe play around with the dis-comfort seat foam over the winter and add a gel pad. The aftermarket seat business seems very iffy. Like the vids!
@@jezguy66 I'm still testing out a water cushion. I put four hours on it and while I wasn't very comfortable on it, I didn't have soreness after the four hours. I will try reducing the amount of water in it and also wearing the bicycle underwear and I'll let you know how it goes. It really ruins our rides to get sore so quickly. After the two hour mark, my bottom goes south fast. But it's promising that I wasn't sore after wearing the bicycle underwear for four hours (but that ride was on my Monster, which has a different shaped seat so I still have to test it on the Diavel). Stay tuned hopefully tonight for a new motorcycle reveal!

The one that came on it does look better, but the extra comfort is the way to go. Good video! Love the bike
Thanks my friend. About to record some more Diavel mods right now.
I ordered one for less knee bend. I am curious how it feels. I think it makes the bike look better 👌🏼🐝🔥
Hello. Can you review the lower seat.
I wouldn’t. The stock is as good.
and now some more Monster 937 content, please! Where's that tuner video you promised?

Did you put the db killers back into the Terms?
Yes. It was just way too loud. My eardrums were getting hammered. Still sounds amazing with them in tho.

anything to help the tukus is a good investment
I'm testing out a water filled seat tomorrow. :D

I got some bicycle underwear recently and it helps a lot (the ones that have cushions under the butt to the crotch area. I got them on Amazon for $20.

@@DucatiDiaries cool! It's the new Multistrada though. Nice bike, I recall sitting on one at a bike show in Toronto when they had such things.
@@DucatiDiaries If the water seat works out I suggest using the 'Pain Killer' track by Judas Priest!
I see your shed is still standing in the background 😮
Yeah I paid $2,000 to have a company fix it. Then another $650 to build a stone wall on the driveway side. :O/ Now I need a third job.
My height is 4.9 ft, will it be comfortable for me, plz reply
I think I'd stick with stock at your height. This brings you up higher in the seat.
I still like the Whoopie cushion seat MORE!!!! 😂🤣😂 whoopie
I have a water butt cushion I'm reviewing later this week. :o)
Looks more sporty, but better for long rides. But not that cheap👍
I got my monster blinkers in the way! Hopefully next week.
