- This video will examine the aftermarket no name fuel pumps I inherited with my car from the previous owners and replaced in May 2021 with MB Fuel Pumps when I overhauled my Fuel System:
• Mercedes W126 560SEL M...
These pumps are aftermarket and no name and until the day I removed them, supplied the required Pressure for my system to 6.4 Bar
Super Clean !!
Hi Peter: I am overhauling the whole fuel pump hoses and system like you did. Mercedes sells re manufactured pumps, what do you think of these?? vs the new Bosch after market? should I change my two original fuel pumps if they are working fine? I am planning on changing all hoses... Thanks
I have never bought a MB rebuilt pump. So, I don’t know. Bosch aftermarket is fine as long as they are authentic Bosch and not fugazi’s (counterfeit)
@@inovahightechltd When you did the overhaul, did you change the pumps or left the old ones?
Charles, as to the original pumps, all these pumps have carbon brushes and they will wear out at one point or another. Hard to predict without taking pump apart on how much carbon is left
@@charlestimmis273 I changed both pumps with MB pumps which were still available at that time (2 years ago)
Citric acid works great in bathtubs also!
