I feel more welcome in Thailand than I do in the USA where I grew up. My best of friends are in Thailand. I am working my hardest here in the USA to move back to Thailand.
You are right Adam this country got everything so thats why i moved from the UK .I made my mind up the very first time i came to the Kingdom back early 2022 while still under covid days wearing mask and keeping distance. Within a week and half i fell in love with this beautiful country and i made my mind up straight away that im moving here in the following year and here i am living the dream . I love your channel Adam keep up the good work.😊😊😊
your philosophy in regards to money is spot on. I gave up making $10k a month in USA to just comw here and retire on my military retirement. If it fits in a backpack, thats all thats required.

Thai people still know how to life, Thai people even in age never forget how to play and be childisch (laugh about the small things, laugh about yourself...) and this, but so much more makes this country special.🙏 About 10 years ago or even more there had been a time in Thailand when a northern weather front carried down a cold air system from Russia, it was 14 degree C maximum daily temperature in BKK and windy. When I went for a walk I withnessed all the street dogs, even the most ugly ones (home dogs too) had been dressed in T-shirts by the locals (in the whole country!) as they had been freezing ...and then I realized what a wonderful place and special country Thailand is! - What other country would do such - I never saw such elsewhere in all my many travels. ♥
You know, I find it amusing some commenters complain you are too positive. No where is perfect. I live in Thailand and there are things I don't like. But I love the people and country. If you want negative watch the news.
Man I love Bangkok, and damn I love walking around that damn Park. The Monitor lizards; The Selfie taking teenagers; the flowers, ; The dredges; the fearsome gatekeepers(ha ha). Cheers for the vids. Living my best life for me!

@keis one .,., You forgot to mention that of all places you visited , Here in Thailand is the FOOD. besides Thai food, you have all other food from other countries available in Thailand. I'm Thai/American living in Cebu, I cook and eat Thai food here on a regular basis.

Similar here, been here for a year (early thirties), went back to Australia for two months and just wanted to get back to Thailand ASAP. Just secured my 20 year visa here and plan on staying here a long time! Why go back to Aus to work my ass off just to try pay off a mortgage my whole life.
Health is your wealth not the 💴 , I worked my arse off in banking and other jobs in uk 🇬🇧 .. for what ? Yeah money 💴 but ultimately miserable & unhappy. I would say you lucky bugger but it's not luck that has got you here but hard work. You have the bonus of being young so you have the ability to start afresh if it doesn't work out. Yeah, I hate money too. I don't care about it. I spend it quick, I don't worry about money because it always comes to me. I don't have to do nine to five jobs. I was working in the nightclub industry just to stack money easily and get out to Thailand and stay with my wife (now ex-wife) I still want to live there, maybe China, Japan is quite hard now, but my heart is in Thailand. It feels like I've lived there in a previous life. The in-laws really welcomed me, the cousins and uncles with the aunts and new found friends in Thailand brought me into their culture and way of life, I even learned Thai ready for moving there. Although things changed in the marriage I do hope I can go back to the village meet everyone to eat, get drunk and have new memories. and I do pray that in the future I can go live there, and thanks to the awesome visa knowledge you shared I've discovered another option to get me there 😊 Wish you the best of luck with all of the life you are creating in Thailand and a successful story with your gf ❤ I look forward to seeing more of your REAL down to earth videos PS; I just thought how you don't like the word "slums" and I'm thinking let's borrow from Jamaica and call it Shanty Towns or something similar sounding more positive and magical ... I love your videos, but when you say less money better life I can't agree coming myself from a country equivalent to Thailand, because you can live with less money in Thailand, but not less money in Australia, and thats a big difference.
That’s one reason I won’t go back there to live! Aus is ridiculous for the cost of things, and the amount you need to earn just to survive there is a joke..
@@keisone I agree the cost on Aus is ridiculous, but don't hate me, in my opinion it is not about less money, it about is cost of living, I believe that if you live in Thailand with low income it will be more difficult to say you are this happy, because you will be feeling the same as you felt in Aus. Happiness are just sparks in the life, when you find peace you will get more sparks of happiness, then pay rent on time, been able to buy medicine when you are sick, have good food everyday, etc give you that peace. Money is not bad, should not be god, money is a tool.
I agree and disagree too, when I first moved out here I was on a tight budget and it took me quite a while to start even earning any money, especially a decent amount, these were some of the best times of my life.. now I have plenty of opportunities to earn more money if I want, but I turn those opportunities down to have more free time to enjoy myself 😊

New subscriber, just discovered your channel. May I ask, since you say that Thailand is your home, how do you solve that with visas? You are too young to get a retirement visa, and cannot stay on tourist visas or visa exemptions for a long period of time. Educational visa? Learning language or Muay Thai maybe? That will give you a few years. Or are you married to a Thai? Elite visa? I just wonder, because many younger people find it difficult after a while to renew their visas, and then move home, before returning later when they are around 50. Or just travel back and forth for years. For people above 50, that is never a problem, then you get a visa based on retirement, if you have an income or money in bank, or to support yourself (maybe using an agent). Just curious, because this is sometimes not thought fully through. Feel free to answer. Sarlina 😊

i love thailand , i have spent half my life there .. i agree time over money any day .. just curious , have you bought a place in bangkok or are you renting ... Thais have got life sussed ... Thais are the best people on the planet in my opinion , the rest of the world needs to learn so much from the thais .... It almost seems like noone ever wants to go home once living in Thailand. Would be interesting to hear from people who have gone back home and why.
Yeah I would love to know too, the main reasons I hear people leaving is, money, alcoholism and heartbreak..
But a lot of these people set themselves up for failure, so I don’t think it’s about them not liking Thailand.. would love to hear stories too!

New subscriber, just discovered your channel. May I ask, since you say that Thailand is your home, how do you solve that with visas? You are too young to get a retirement visa, and cannot stay on tourist visas or visa exemptions for a long period of time. Educational visa? Learning language or Muay Thai maybe? That will give you a few years. Or are you married to a Thai? Elite visa? I just wonder, because many younger people find it difficult after a while to renew their visas, and then move home, before returning later when they are around 50. Or just travel back and forth for years. For people above 50, that is never a problem, then you get a visa based on retirement, if you have an income or money in bank, or to support yourself (maybe using an agent). Just curious, because this is sometimes not thought fully through. Feel free to answer. Sarlina 😊
