Truthfully I really respect the fact that you just said you were attracted to Ghastly. The trend of beating around the bush and acting all embarrassed at thinking a character is hot is honestly kind of annoying. I’m glad you just said it. (And she is hot!)

One is of Phil LaMarr talking about how Frank Welker pitched the episode in the first place, and the other (most relevant to this comment thread) has Grey DeLisle-Griffin reveal that Ghastly's rambling is actually Grey ranting about her ex-boyfriend haggling.
I could never forget Evil Con Carne! and for obvious reasons Dr. Ghastly was my most favorite character in the short lived spin off. thank you for yet another trip down memory lane Hats!!!

As a major "Evil Con Carne" nut (and a major Major Dr. Ghastly simp) for five and a half years, I cannot thank you enough for blessing my subscription feed with this high-quality review, hands-down the best that this show has ever gotten since MeltingMan234's review 10 years earlier. Though the one thing I must correct you on is regarding General Skarr's origins. Contrary to popular belief, he was NOT based on Herr Starr, as Maxwell Atoms said on Tumblr that he never saw anything from the "Preacher" franchise until the 2016 AMC series. He did, however, confirm that Skarr was inspired by Fearless Leader from "Rocky and Bullwinkle".
As for your comments on the season 2 makeover, I used to share your feelings on Boskov's awkward redesign. To me, he looked a little too Stimpy-like (specifically Stimpy as drawn by Vincent Waller). However, it soon grew on me.
All in all, you've really done this underrated hidden gem (and Ghastly's sexy a$$) justice! Thanks again for this video, D'Angelo! Oh yeah, and in case I forgot, I must also thank you for reviewing my other favorite underrated CN show, "Sheep in the Big City". Keep up your great content!

Tbh, I kinda love the Stimpy-esque Boskov. (Funny enough, that design was kept in the Billy and Mandy/Evil Con Carne crossover episode.)

The fact such a short-lived show went through like 3 or 4 art shifts in its run I can't help but find its own level of appealing. Especially with how they just sexualized the Major Doctor more and more.

Man, I wish Maxwell Atoms would bring back one of these shows or make a new one. His brand of humor influenced mine so much. Billy and Mandy and Evil Con Carne are to this day are so bat-sh** insane that it's hard not to bust a gut.

everyone always talks about shego from kim possible being their childhood bi awakening but mine was ghastly so i fully get simping for her. I also love how she wasn't just "sexy woman number 34" but had her own fun goofy personality.

As a massive fan of Billy and Mandy, Season 1 of Evil Con Carne was fairly hit or miss for me but I absolutely love Season 2. Gridlocked and Loaded is easily the show’s best episode. Also I think the reason that Season 2 looks so different and was probably more expensive than the first season is because the crew wanted the last episodes of the series to be the best that they could be knowing that they had to give up on the show to pursue more Billy and Mandy, which was the better choice! I’m very glad that you addressed Skarr moved to B & M as he was one of my favorite secondary characters on that show. You could tell how much the writers loved him as well as seen by the fact that Skarr had two episodes in a row with him as a major character in Season 6.
Great work, dude! I always loved General Skarr because as a Ratchet and Clank fan, all I hear is Doctor Nefarious, and it brings me immense joy.

Ahh so that's what that past post was referring to haha. Yes I certainly remember seeing this series before Billy and Mandy and just figured they were both the same series. I certainly remember when Scar first moved in to the neighborhood and actually got the joke of him trying to reform and live a normal life since I remember how he was in the previous series and honestly wish it got about the same about of appreciation as Billy and Mandy does since it truly did help the latter series as well, really enjoying your vids as well mate, very nicely done👌.

As a kid not understanding WTF was happening when they switched grim and evil up and then bam no more evil. I enjoyed that just as much as billy and mandy, and just kept waiting for a new episode that never came.....

It's petty to address Evil Con Carne has a forgotten show when it's the show that allegedly beat out all the SpongeBob episodes at this time. I think General Skaar would like an audience in your court, mate.
To be fair, I never forgot, it's mostly Cartoon Network that barely addresses it

Seems understandable but then you don't hear much from RobotBoy, Mike, Lu, & Og or Juniper Lee and, somehow, the audience tends to remember them. It's more like Evil Con Carne was underrated being half a set on The Grim Adventures to reap the benefits, e.g, General Skarr's crossover.
