I actually really like that episode where everyone vanishes from existence, mostly because it explored the depth of Mandy's cynicism? Like, that clip you showed where she says "helloooo?" and nobody replies, ends with a zoom on her face, Mandy smiling for one of the first times in the show, then saying " _perfect._ " and moving back home. It was really memorable to me since I only ever remember her smiling during two episodes of this show, and the idea that she's cynical enough to smile if the world ends is pretty fitting with the overall theme. She really _would_ make an amazing grim reaper.

Episodes like Nigel Planter and the Order of the Peanuts and the gym episode of the Secret Snake club showed that they were running out of ideas in the last season.

Lots of other countries don't have as big a concern for swearing as America does. I remember back in the late 2000's - early 2010's Cartoon Network lightened up on censorship and allowed show to have slightly stronger language, for example, season 1 of Regular show would have characters say 'crap' and 'screwed' at least once an episode. I believe this started with CN airing Total Drama Island, which already had the this stronger language being a Canadian show. Unfortunately, we've fallen back into a 'think of the children' mindset for cartoons on TV at least.

I always liked this show, through all seasons and changes. One change I noted was at the beginning, Grim tended to hang out a lot with Billy, with Mandy being more of a bossy, controlling nuisance to him, but in the later episodes, Grim seemed to gain an admiration for Mandy’s mindset and determination. There were so many little things tossed into the show, whether it be the Greek and Sumerian myths and tales of the underworld, the old horror movie standbys, Irwin being part mummy and part vampire, some of the gross out humor, the boogeyman, the balance of both humor and terror.
Something to look for, Billy’s parents resemble the Flintstones, and Mandy’s resemble the Jetsons.
