Cadillac window regulator fix for "Free"!

- If you heard a loud pop when putting up or down the window on a 99-2010 Cadillac, then here is a free fix.
Video note** I did put a 3rd wire going across lengthwise because I overkill everything :)

Curious, did you run the new wire ‘diagonally’ to the holes in opposite corners, OR did you run it ‘at 90 degrees’ across the window cable? So, one length of wire was laced through 4 holes, not 2 wires laced separately at 90 degrees to the window cable?

I've bought all 4 regulators from Rockauto for $80 for my 01 Deville. Great tip, but I'd rather have new for that little money.

My wire won't slide to either ways 😔
My wire was stuck inside the plastic thing that has a spring on each end. I pulled the wire out with pliers.
Awesome, I have seen this b4 & im on my 3rd window fix now & I know motor is good, thot I'd try to save 64 bucks & watch ur video again. I agree you’d think a Cadillac would be a little more robust. Ha!!
By the way. I still own this car and drive it often and the regulator fix is still in place.
Good morning, yes sometimes it's fun to fix my own car ( hoping I have all the stupid different screws & took driver's etc etc. My car only has 120k on it and still goes down the road very nice. Although, I noticed I need air shocks. I don't think I know how to do that one. But my bro can get me good discount on parts so may have to look for someone to do the work. I just don't have that much time on my hands. 🫠🙋♀️
