Hi, thanks for your video. I am having this issue now with my 1988 Nissan Pulsar (same as Sentra engine, RS5F31A). First, the 5th gear was popping out, now, I can't even get it into 5th gear; it just grinds. Please tell me where I can find a new gear to replace it. Thanks.
I am a user of the Nissan Frontier D22 3.0 in 2002. But there is a problem with the transmission 3 syncrom spare part problem, in Indonesia there is none. Please help
exact same problem on my 2013 Honda accord MT due to my dumb mistake not putting back the top 4 screws on top of granny that connects the linkage cables and one of the two dowel pins fell inside the gears…I’m forced now to just replace the whole trans assembly…can’t find any 5th gear only for sell online to replace it
Ok so what would i be looking at to rebuild the 5 speed in my 92 sentra? 195k and today started popping out of 5th 😭 as long as I’m cruising flat roads it will stay in gear but any inclines at acceleration POP..
yep i got a 94 Nissan d21 that does that. but my question is. how does it get damage like that in the first place? wouldn't first or 2nd gear have that happen more likely? just wondering. i don't know much about transmissions ....
My 5th gear just started vibrating my gear stick it was after I went over a pothole on the motorway can u help me diagnose it and do u think I'll loose 5th gear it doesn't vibrate in any other gear. 2002 Nissan pulsar. Could it be the wheel that went over the pothole just needs balancing ?
when I took my car to a shop. my 5th gear would pop out back In to neutral. one day I was mad and was tired of it poping out of gear, so I slammed it really hard into 5th. never had it popped out of 5th. crazy and can you or someone explain what might have happened
Can someone please help me!! My 1st 3rd and 5th don’t have resistance when shift and pops out from time to time. When I try to downshift to an odd gear it grinds and pops out. My even gears are perfectly fine, I can shift into them feeling some notchyness and downshift into them no problem.
