Could be a bad shift fork as well. Gears popping out usually indicate that the hub isn’t fully engaging that gear. Griding going into gear but does not pop out indicates worn down engagement teeth. Either way, if your gear looks as bad as the one in the video, I would replace it and the hub/slider assembly.
This video ended up in my recommendations. While I was watching it I was like, "Wait, that accent. This guy is from the Delaware Valley". So then I check and yep. I love our accent. Its so obvious!

I make as work this component , it 's error phase in machine. trimming is name of this profile.Double cone sincronizer.
Aren’t these transmissions made to take some abuse though? Just by the nature of it being a performance car?
Absolutely, however, when you force a shift when the syncronizer is NOT LINED UP, this type of damage occurs.
@@thecorvettemechanic84 Now I'm scared to shift wrong. That's alot of labor! Is this covered by warranty or no because it could be owner abuse?
I will post a video later on next week itemizing exactly what I mean, costs are NOT discussed by me on my page
I can see that you dont know what focus is.
thanks for posting
If t6070 nibbles down shifting from 3 to 2 after transmission warms up to 130f. Does that mean synchro are gone?
Did you find out solution?
@@whoisrobzilla yes, all I needed to do was be more aggressive with shift.
I’ve been following sence the start. Great video bro. Thanks
