Hi, nice vid. Using stock can? Did you replace the motor mount with the aluminum one? I'm building one up now and am wondering about cooling the Tamiya 540.
@@VDFlab Thanks! But theoretically, it spins better than an m05, right? So, on a small track it should be better, right? I want to buy an M chassis not to compete, and I am undecided M05, M06, M07, M08 ....
@@JoseGarcia-yk3dl yes it is spins more naturally than m05, hence m06 far mor superior in larger and longer tracks. but if you could use foam tires, it will destroy in technical tracks. i have tried it once using foam and it does good in tight corners
Fantastic video! I have an M06 with some upgrades on order and I was still a bit skeptical until I watched this. Everyone says the M05 is better but I just can't take how its still FWD and Im getting bored with it. You just proved it can be competitive with the right set up. What diff are you running?
@@VDFlab awesome. I ran my M06 in the m chassis class at our club for a couple years until the class just died. I was the only rear drive car and was actually competitive. I absolutely loved gaining two spots at the standing start while the front drives were just spinning tyres!
yes. using tamiya and yeah racing part for motor mount.
thanx :) i think, M06 does greater on bigger circuit. In this video, race with M06 really difficult....especially battling on main A with 99% M05s
Great video.
Thank you very much

nice info, now i know which one is better
thank you. and good luck :)
NICE! M06 is best to drive in short trakcs? tour better?
thank you. for my current setup still not comfortable enough for short track. for medium to long tracks definitely better than M05

Hello! I have a M05 with a brushless motor and they look at lot quicker lol! It's a Ezrun, how much was the motor you are running.

Josh Custodio Manalo thank you for your comment. i'm running stock bevel gear diff with only grease in it. so it's very loose.

Yeessss....i love that moment too. M06 leaving M05s in the dust when start from standing still.
