This is great. I'm also making it into a beetle. Did you use the real L87 pearlwhite paint for it? And do you reckon I can easily chance the rims to other more true looking rims from other brands you reckon?

Yes you can easily change the rim to another one

Really nice looking 'Herbie' there Frank, it likes to get up and boogey, that's for sure.

Has this been tested against a TT01e? I only ask as I’ve got both and only just getting round to building my m06 today, but can see it’s max pinion size is 20, where as the 01e can go up to 28t pinion with 55t spur gear (admittedly I’m not sure what spur gear comes in the 06 although I’m sure it’s limited in size). I race the 01e at club level and building the m06 to take part in a separate event so might try and do some research…although we run brushed setups, I’m hoping any difference in speed will still be seen 🤞

Have you finished the m-06? im trying to decide between buying the TT-01e vs M06. I will only use it in public carparks and street (not race track). My main concern is the M06 will look too small when being towed on a trailer by my crawlers. Crawlers are kind of closer to 1/9 scale where as the M06 is the smaller end of 1/10. Also have you tried driving a TT01 converted to RWD? i wonder if ruins the drivability.

I'm tempted to get an M06 but I live in the Scottish Highlands & it's ALWAYS wet here... What are they like on wet tarmac.?
I imagine a lot of frustrating unintentional spin outs.?
    Also.. Brushless.?? Yay or Nay.?

Per scale isn’t that faster than the 1/1…👍👍

Yes that would make it around 200 mph. Thanks for stopping by to watch and comment on the video
