Its good for all !Splendid fellow. I took crew 'off the beach' to sail with me from france to thailand. Bit by bit. You sound like the sort of person who would be a good crew. Please teach others .
Sure one of the worst things I've experienced. But you are right, you do get over and you learn how to deal with it better in my opinion. The next trips it wasn't as bad at all. My tip is to lay down and try to nap when you start feeling it, looking at the horizon didn't help at all. Might juts be me though.
Sorry for the late reply, i looked on findacrew.net and oceancrewlink, but found Hans through Crewbay. I really knew I wanted to be on that boat, so really pushed (in the politest way possible) to get in contact with him. My previous experience at that point was a RYA competent crew & RYA Day Skipper course that I had done a year earlier. There were people on the boat with no experience whatsoever. Hope that answers your question.
Yes, in my opinion crewbay & findacrew are the best platforms out there. But i you really want to stand out and get something quick, go to the Marina and start chatting with everyone you meet. Be friendly but make your intentions clear, people will help you out to find a boat.
Sorry for the late reply, Hans had planned to stay for at least a month longer in the Canaries while I wanted to continue my journey across the Atlantic. If he would've continued I would have stayed on the boat.
UPDATE: Hans told me he is looking for some crew to cross the Atlantic this year. You can send me a message on Instagram @leanderdc for his contact.
Do you have an alternative contact? Seems that account is no longer there.
@@Itssmial_Ova do they ever plan on going to the pacific side on the US west coast?
This must be the coolest boat I've seen
Bro, no way this boat cross to the canaries! WOW! Your color grading and post skills are really sick! Can't wait to sea more!

Hi, send me a DM on Instagram @leanderdc
hello, do you have recommendations how to find boats who are looking for helpers?
Yes, in my opinion crewbay & findacrew are the best platforms out there. But i you really want to stand out and get something quick, go to the Marina and start chatting with everyone you meet. Be friendly but make your intentions clear, people will help you out to find a boat.
Why did you decide to get off the boat at the canaries ?
Sorry for the late reply, Hans had planned to stay for at least a month longer in the Canaries while I wanted to continue my journey across the Atlantic. If he would've continued I would have stayed on the boat.
