Turn the treshhold up to a good hum on the Legend ,you may not hear a beep ,but if you hear a definate tone break you can bet something is there most of the time. KEEP ON DIGGIN!!!!!!!!!
Love My Gold Kruzer..(65khz!) I was eyeing the Nox 800…But I’m Leaning heavy toward the legend for a Multi/Lower freq.vlf as I am familiar with Nokta/Makro, Their outstanding quality and heck.. Its Half the price!… Yeah..Legend.
Very true. I enjoy the Gold Kruzer as well. It found my very first piece of gold in Arizona in the spring. The Legend is an excellent detector, and yes for half the cost and nearly the same performance, go for it.
@0Logan05 do you think the gold Kruzer is better for gold than the legend? I guess I'm asking in general as conditions do vary from site to site etc. I'm hopefully looking to get into it soon! And can't decide what to aim for!
@vincentjackson3472 yes, it is better for gold prospecting. It can pick up a small piece than the legend will because of the higher frequency it runs on.
I live only 25 miles from them. I bought my simplex from them a couple of months ago. I love it too!! They are awesome to do business with. I will only buy my detectors from them from now on out.
Great questions. It does respond to hot rocks. It gives a light zip sound and shows up ferrous on the target ID bar. It can pick up a nugget nearly 3-4 inches deep. Maybe a little bit more if you jack the sensitivity all the way up.
I have a friend who wants to start prospecting up here and he has asked me a handful of times what detector should he buy. I tell him to do research and watch yt videos.. I will have him check your channel out on this one. We Live In Nh and I myself have not been out Gold Prospecting So I really have no clue on this subject. Thanks For sharing .
If you plan to do any relic hunting as well as nugget hunting, I would go with either the Nokta Legend or the Nokta Gold Kruzer. They are both waterproof as well, so that would open up another option of places to search.
I have the Legend and the Fisher gold bug pro, the gold bug pro does a awesome job on the gold but the Legend finds gold but no where as good as the Gold bug pro. Now for relic hunting and clad coins, the Legend performs awesome.
@@0Logan05also wonder if these folks don't use or know about listening for break in the hum. Legend may not vdi or sound off but will have a break in the threshold
Is the gold finder 2000,on same depth as the gold kruzer reason y i ask because gold kruzer has manual, auto, tracking, did u see a difference in depth equal to the gold kruzer , because I'm going to Arizona, please let me know, thank you
Thanks for sharing, I am in AZ and would like to upgrade to the (Legend $500) or (XP ORX $600) or the (Nokta Gold Finder 2000 $600) ... I would like to look for gold, coins and relics, but obviously gold would be ideal, lol ... Which one would you recommend for AZ. Thank you sir.
I haven’t. The “nuggets” in SC are very few and far between. The only ones I’ve seen found big enough for a detector to pick up were at the bottle of the broad river found while dredging bed rock 6 feet down.
I’ll do more with the Simplex in the future. I do have a couple videos where I tested the Simplex to see if it would pick up gold. I have a huge playlist of nothing but Simplex tips and hunts.
@@southernrelics I have watched them all, but many, me included, would love to see it tested along side the higher cost machines. The nuggets would have been very informative of the VDI and depth compared to the other machines.
@@rtdetecting thanks for the feedback. I’ll try to do a similar test here soon and I’ll include the Simplex. I’ve got to get past this busy few weeks first, then I can devote some time to it and make the test more lifelike and not just air tests.
Same RT, like using the simplex in different modes and sensitivity settings combined in tests, the simplex is just as capable if not more than a lot of the higher priced detectors, in the right hands..
How is the goldfinder 2000 on the beach?? It's def a different mineral content and will it cut it there? I can't find anything on how that Makes does finding gold in the dense wet beach sand...
That’s a good question. I have not had it on the beach yet. I don’t see many videos on the GF2000 as it is. I don’t think anyone has had one on the beach. It does automatically ground balance to the type of soil it’s on, but I’m not sure how it would handle it.
@@southernrelics l bought one, it's getting returned.. it does not discriminate as advertised.. it's got to be faulty. I am going to order another and hope it works as advertised. Hey I want to find some gold with my legend, so could you send me a big box full of gold so I can spread it out in my yard and hunt for it lol thanks in advance lol
Hello. Only one of these detectors is mine. The others were on loan to me to do these tests and have been returned since then. You may have to find the right deal or even find a detector at a yard sale or thrift store to begin your detecting hobby on a budget. Have a great day.

O Multi Kruzer em ALL metal com treshoud ligado pega muito mais profundo e ainda tem a função EUD que aumenta ainda mais a profundidade de busca. 4:19

Awesome! They are great.
Great video brother. A lot of great info on some nice machines. Thanks for sharing these test results.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Thanks. It’s neat to see how each detector performs.
Hi how does the gold finder 2000 respond to hot rock, how they sound, whats the ID on screen,is the depth good on gold in Arizona
Great questions.
It does respond to hot rocks. It gives a light zip sound and shows up ferrous on the target ID bar.
It can pick up a nugget nearly 3-4 inches deep. Maybe a little bit more if you jack the sensitivity all the way up.
Between the Nox & Legend, Do you recommend the Legend or Equinox 800, for Gold Prospecting?
Great question. Personally I’d go with the Legend. The both perform well , but you can’t beat the price of the Legend
try digging the nugget down a little deep in dirt and retry. most detectors can find it when it is on top like that
Hi I'm in North Carolina how does the depth on gold in the red clay with gold finder 2000
I have the nokta makro gold cruzer...is that much diff than the 2000 gold ?. Thanx great video
Not a ton. It’s the same frequency, but the Finder only gives a ferrous/non-ferrous indicator as opposed to the VDI on the kruzer
@southernrelics thank u very much . Great channel. I'm in Newfoundland Canada. I'll share your channel with some friends.

Very cool! Thanks for watching and I hope your friend finds the right detector for him.
I put no stock in air tests... plus it's a big nugget compared to what most prospectors find out in the desert...
Thanks for watching
Which one do you recommend? I don't know whether my place has nuggets or not..its unexplored land

It's unexplored land so sometimes I also feel if I buy one of the best nuggets detector and don't find any nuggets..
@laokeikonyak8377 I understand that. The Nokta Legend can pick up nuggets, but is a relic machine mainly.
I have the Legend and the Fisher gold bug pro, the gold bug pro does a awesome job on the gold but the Legend finds gold but no where as good as the Gold bug pro. Now for relic hunting and clad coins, the Legend performs awesome.
I look forward to testing the gold bug in Tennessee on some gold next week.
…. Wondering if That’s with the stock coils.?..
Simply Changing a Coil can make a decent detector into an Amazing detector..

How high did you have the threshold on the legend?
im not sure. I will be back in Arizona with the Legend in April. Hopefully I'll get on a gold nugget then

Great question. Sorry for the super-late response. If strictly gold detecting, the Nokta Gold Finder. If you want to also relic hunt, the Legend
Minelab gold monster.
Legend y equinox son igual creo que su tecnología es la misma
Have you ever purposely detected for gold nuggets in the upstate and found any?

@southernrelics, I have some spots that are promising for sure.
There's a lot of gold out here, Utah, and New Mexico still!

Equinox 800 is good but the goldmonster for a vlf is the most user friendly.the Garrett axiom, the adv 2300,Gpx 6000.for pulse.
The Legend has a prospector setting, I tried finding gold with it last weekend but no luck!
