    I put the coil on the water and it stop working. Have any idea whats wrong

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  2 года назад

      That shouldn’t happen. Has it permanently stopped? If so, then you need to contact customer service. But first change to the other coil and see why it does.

    How does it compare to the gold monster ? If it is at least comparable I'll have one .

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  2 года назад

      They both have the gold/iron indicator bar on them. Both are not waterproof. If you get the Minelab wet, it’s done. The Nokta gold Finder is rainproof, but can not be submerged in water. Both units have good depth. The only advantage the Minelab has over the Nokta is the ability to put a huge coil on it. I’m hoping Nokta will make some very large coils for it so it can go much deeper.

      @@southernrelics Thanks for the reply . I have a gold monster but I fancy the gold finder as well . Should I buy the gold finder . Your advice would surely be appreciated . Thank you .

      If you are big into detecting for gold, I would say go for it. I believe it runs on 61 kHz. I’m not sure of the frequency in the monster.

      @@southernrelics Thank you . It's a done deal .I figure having two machines on different frequencies would be advantageous . But I don't want a detector that doesn't match the monster . Thanks again .

    Now you are doing what I really like to do.Nugget shooting. Wet sand is a good test even in all metal. That is how we usually hunt in all metal. Thanks for sharing this machine with the community.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥

    The penny you found was buried 3 or four years ago when the Statesville and Kannapolis GPA Chapters had a two day outing. The numbers were used to determine what you won. If I remember correctly there were several hundred pennies buried. George

    Found a steel button with a brass shank and a lead rivet on the back it was a really strange cool relic think it’s horse tack found it with the gold kruzer they make a great gold machine I also believe these gold machines have there place in iron infested relic sites because of the good separation and recovery speed

      I recommend running in all metal. It give you a little more depth. Sensitivity can be adjusted as needed. That’s what is so nice about this easy to use detector.

    What a great test. Looks like a good machine. Brings up a curious question. If you have it in non ferous metal only mode, place a Rusty nail and one of those nuggets in a small hole, can it separate the gold from the iron? Or will it discriminate out the iron and mask the gold? Great work Stephen and look forward to more videos,

    By the way to find gold you Need to dig deep on the site and put the machine to sniff.
    This the right way to use a vlf gold detector.

      Thanks for sharing. All these videos that I am doing are just testing videos to see how it performs. It is in the mid 20s where I am now, and I am not digging deep in any creek. Come summertime there will be plenty of that.

      In comparison, the Minelab gold detector that is similar to this one is not even rain proof. This one can at least handle rain conditions on the control box.
