I bought a used Ron with bac4000 and it went sour after 4 months when I learned that my overseas seller would be the only one able to service it and cost incredibly to fix under such arrangement. Never get a bac again personally because it's closed code. Torp is open code and rocks straight out of the box. Aerodynamically and aesthetically it's superior imo. Sadly I never got to try bac myself before it went bust since it was on my son's Ron
Then don't buy a used BAC from an overseas seller? Mine was under warranty and went bad after a few rides. I got a free warranty replacement, and it's been good for over 2 years now. It might've died because of the regen or the company I bought it from sent me a refurbished unit, not sure. But either way, if mine breaks again, it'll cost me $450 to replace from the same company. All that being said, I still prefer BAC's raw performance over TC500 ease of use
Love watching you boyz ride you know how to whip them bikes around 😅 That torp tune looks amazing did you guys program it yourself or was it a pre programed tune on the torp controller ? 🔥🔥🔥
@@SurronLondon The main difference between 60v and 72v is that 72v can get the motor to a higher RPM even at the same KW. A 72v can reach 50+ MPH even at 3-4kw or possibly even less. The range depends on your settings, kWh capacity of the battery, weight of the bike/rider, sprocket.
I dont know boss... The BAC4000 and 8000 have more buttery power delivery. Torp is a white label of the VESC which is mainly used in skateboards. The majority of racers and stunters prefer the BAC controllers and the BAC8000 has twice the phase amps and better true FOC for top speed as well. Great video , thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the comment. I prefer the torp because of its quick and smooth throttle response. Could you explain what VESC and FOC is please. I’m interested to learn something new.
@@SurronLondon The throttle response is easily adjusted on any BAC controller. "Torque based FOC" makes it easier to manipulate the motor as it "feels" resistance and allows you to control the vehicle with more precision. Only BACs have a torque based FOC feedback loops. Hence, the reason why stunters and pro racers prefer it.
Great video to watch ngl 💪🏾💯 Quick question I’m 6’3 which bike you think is suitable for a guy my height to ride is it ultra or the storm bee? I’m interested in getting one
Great video! im definitely getting the Torp now.
The torp is the best controller ever! I like it very much! Good video bro❤

The b a c controller was never built for a surron
It would have been nice to see the top speeds on all the batteries. Do you recall what your speed was with the 60V bypassed batt?
wasnt bypassed
controller works with stock battery bms dont need a dodgy bypass tht shitl burn ur house down
torp is s scam please dont buy it
King of the controller game right there bossman!!! Can’t wait for field weakening
will stock bypassed be the same power as the high power 60v?
Which rear sprocket is a test assembly?
Great vid. How's the Torp comapre to the ebmx x9000?
Beautiful comparison! 👀 🔋 🚀
👊
Top notch video brother - How much was the Surron?
What’s the top speed with the 38 ah 8.6kw battery
Is it compatible with the domino throttle?
yes
That shit is FIRE! Thank you, i need one now!

What the top speed on each battery with torp controller
I’ll add this in my next video with the Torp controller.
Is interesting to understand better torp with stock battery.... How many kw can reach?
8.6kw with the 60v 38ah that comes with 2023 Surrons
@@SurronLondon I have a 60V 34AH under my stock battery it says. How much can I run because im getting this controller like 4 days
@@12xpack99 I've read that with the 60v 34ah battery, you'll get ~7.3kw

How much is there difference between 60 and 72v? I'm looking for long distance and good power is 60v60ah enough?
72v is more for top speed
Is 60v stil 47mph or more than standard

Wats it like with the 60v 40ah battery
Better than any other controller 😅
@@SurronLondon what is the top speed change from putting in that torp?
@@iamtheblackwizard88 depends on how you set up your torp but I'd say it adds 10mph or more
