    0:42 : why does it only take a 40ah to 7kw but a 38ah to 8.5kw?

    • @joem8601
      @joem8601 2 месяца назад +1

      If anyone’s still wondering, it’s because the 40Ah battery has fewer cells but nearly the same capacity as the 38Ah battery, which has more, smaller cells to output from.

    What is the max kw for tc500 tm25 w aftermarket 60v battery? Torp doesn't mention it on their site. Curious if there is a benefit other than not over heating to upgrade the motor.

    Great content as usual hope to ride together someday can’t wait to get my torp motor to make some content with when they have enough for promotional content. I’ve been having my throttle cut off randomly and say my motors been overtemp’d but then it drops right back down instantly. They think it’s a bad temp sensor I’m going to test this and hopefully make some content with it in case anyone else has issues like this. “Fault 6”

    I just purchased your 80 V ultra Bee battery. Will the TC 1000 for the ultra Bee work with that battery?

    • @ChargedCycleWorks
      @ChargedCycleWorks  10 месяцев назад

      They have not created a tune for the 80V yet. They are working on it. If you want one asap the EBMX X-9000 will work.

      @@ChargedCycleWorks okay but the voltage won’t be a problem. On there website it says 20 to 90v an 80.5v battery will top out at 92.4v

    11KW from a stock Talaria Sting R battery? Let's see, the stock battery can sustain about 115A continuous, even bypassed when you look up the specs for the individual cells. So 115A * 60V = 6900W. I don't see how you'd ever get 11KW out of a stock MX4 battery. Prove me wrong! Also, how the heck can Torp get that kind of power out of such a small controller? The X-9000 for example is HUGE, and about 3lbs heavier than the stock MX4 controller. How are they able to get that kind of current out of such a small device? I am genuinely curious.

    • @ChargedCycleWorks

      These specs come directly from Torp. We just purchased a Sting R and we'll be sure to test this out for ourselves to see how real world compares to spec numbers.
