If anyone’s still wondering, it’s because the 40Ah battery has fewer cells but nearly the same capacity as the 38Ah battery, which has more, smaller cells to output from.
What is the max kw for tc500 tm25 w aftermarket 60v battery? Torp doesn't mention it on their site. Curious if there is a benefit other than not over heating to upgrade the motor.
Great content as usual hope to ride together someday can’t wait to get my torp motor to make some content with when they have enough for promotional content. I’ve been having my throttle cut off randomly and say my motors been overtemp’d but then it drops right back down instantly. They think it’s a bad temp sensor I’m going to test this and hopefully make some content with it in case anyone else has issues like this. “Fault 6”
Hi Please how do you know if you have hall sensor based controller or encoder As I’m about to install controller and want to get the motor upgrade in future ! Do? they make 2 kinds of controller and 2 kinds of motors that are same but ones newer and ones older how do you know what one I have And what one to get to be compatible Please thank you !?
Hi charged cycle works I was just wondering what the best 18/21 wheels and tyres for the ultra bee for off road I was thing of the Dunlop mx33s and the kke wheel set but as you said in some of your videos is that there just too heavy for the ultra
11KW from a stock Talaria Sting R battery? Let's see, the stock battery can sustain about 115A continuous, even bypassed when you look up the specs for the individual cells. So 115A * 60V = 6900W. I don't see how you'd ever get 11KW out of a stock MX4 battery. Prove me wrong! Also, how the heck can Torp get that kind of power out of such a small controller? The X-9000 for example is HUGE, and about 3lbs heavier than the stock MX4 controller. How are they able to get that kind of current out of such a small device? I am genuinely curious.
Absolutely valid questions. It is winter time here in northern Utah but we are gearing up to be able to these to the test and find the real world answers you are looking for!
These specs come directly from Torp. We just purchased a Sting R and we'll be sure to test this out for ourselves to see how real world compares to spec numbers.
🔥🔥 love the educational videos and towards the end yes! I wanna see ebmx sotion & torp put up side by side on bikes. Same set up
9:53 when are you doing KO, ebmx, and TORP comparison?
0:42 : why does it only take a 40ah to 7kw but a 38ah to 8.5kw?

Do i have any benefit if I use the TC 500 with the TM 25 and my stock 60v Battery?
How are you achieving 17kw on the UB? Mine is capped at 15.5kw with stock battery. TC1000

Great to know! If you’re ever in Utah let us know!
thanks for the overview, helpful..
between this and the ebmx brand which would be the better buy. The price difference isnt much and the ebmx looks better imo
Eta on the Talaria version?
Later this month hopefully. Torp is getting very close to shipping them.
Can I do this upgrade to mine stage 2 M1 model 2023

Battery voltages and Ah ratings were not described clearly. I do like this new torp working with stock display.
What about the nucular controller the talaria boys did a video on? Have you tested that or is it something you don’t sell for some reason?
I just purchased your 80 V ultra Bee battery. Will the TC 1000 for the ultra Bee work with that battery?
They have not created a tune for the 80V yet. They are working on it. If you want one asap the EBMX X-9000 will work.
@@ChargedCycleWorks okay but the voltage won’t be a problem. On there website it says 20 to 90v an 80.5v battery will top out at 92.4v
@@ThatGuyBlake43hopefully the voltage won’t be a problem, it’ll be up to Torp to determine that, and when they do we will put it to the test!
The EBMX X-9000 is amazing with the 80v battery. That’s the setup we are racing on.
@@BrianLampright913 I bet it is but they remove a lot of the key features on the ultra Bee
Can I run this with a 66 volt??
Yes

For the ultra be we absolutely love the Dunlop mx34 and the mx53 tires. Both are great options, the mx53’s are a little more trail oriented
xxx controller ?
Can yoy open up the motor
Is sotion fw01 and tm25 same ?
checkout 8:57 for your answer
tv500 + tm25 = 23kw
