This is so incredible. I was watching with my son and we were completely blown away. I've seen other vids of this renaissance festival, but yours covered so much more of the event. It felt like we were there! My son couldn't even process all the awesomeness. Lol. It is now our goal to make it out to this incredible event next summer. Great vid guys!!! 😁🤙

@@TwoDisneyDudes It was great fun! We mostly focused on the shopping today, and we are gonna go again on the 8th of August and enjoy the shows and some of the rides!

Very similar setup and many of the same vendors as the faire in Wisconsin! Few weeks left only!
I've never been to another Ren Fest but I have a feeling they are mostly the same. I would like to get to others just to experience the differences though.
The Oklahoma Renaissance Festival is my home faire, but I am moving to Denver to be with my boyfriend next year. He's agreed to dress up with me and go when I move. I don't think he knows what he's in for with me! Lol

Hi, you mentioned you really like the riding hats at Blonde Swan. I have a wonderful pub cap they made for me, using the same black with color trim leather (in my case yellow) that those riding hats come in.
I love hats but I hate wearing hats. I don't know why that is. Do you find opportunities to wear your hat often?
@@TwoDisneyDudes Not a huge amount but then I don't wear a lot of hats. It's definitely comfy enough, just not my typical style.
How much is just a buying thing and how much is actually a festival?
That's a good question. I don't know if I can break it down to a percentage but you can just pay your entrance fee and just watch the shows and attractions and have a great day. But you could also spend your whole day shopping in all the stores and not see a single show. So it's really up to you what you choose to do but I think anyone could have a good time regardless of what they were into.

We always stop to watch Vegetable Justice. I particularly like the sign up on the wall that says "This is an insult game! Do not play if you are easily offended." I feel like that motto could be applied to life itself. LOL

You did a great job on this! We are going to go this year but I have a question. Is this a one or a two day event? We have only been to very small ones and we did everything within 3 hours.
Thanks for watching! We usually only go for one day but you can't possibly see and do everything in that one day. You could easily do a full day of attending the jousting and stage performances and another full day browsing all the shops and enjoying the street performers.

go to texas Renaissance festival. it will take you a few weekends to see everything.

It was sooo busy but we still had a good time. Thanks for watching. We've been trying to work out a trip this year but with the high heat and other weekend plans it hasn't worked out.
How odd. So many people in Muggle clothes, not RenFaire garb. Here in NorCal the ratio is way higher for people dressed up!
It's true. Not as many people dressed up as I've seen in videos of other faires. Not sure why that is.
