When I was growing up and came to my parents about porn and sex, they treated the whole internet like a stack of playboys under my bed and took it away for a year and a half. I don't really blame them. They grew up in the 80s and didn't know any better way to handle it, but it ended up making it worse because I never felt I could trust them and now believed sex was a bad thing to get punished for. Now I'm a 25 year old virgin who's never been in a relationship, has struggled with porn for more than half his life, and is struggling to see sex as a good thing at all. Men, you need to have these conversations with your kids. If you don't give them the chance to trust you with this topic, it can really mess up their confidence and their success later on.
The question of willingness to deal with a dreadful conversation like this is a great one to ask. Putting it off doesn't change the inevitability of exposure. So thanks for providing parameters on approaching it.
I appreciate these videos! My son is 12 and I haven’t prepared him as much as I did my daughter because I don’t really know how to talk to him without embarrass him. We’ve talked about it all just not as much as I did my daughter. I know I’ve been trying to keep him as my baby but I also know it’s time I get more intentional with where he’s headed in life. I just purchased Battle Cry for us to go through together and going to use that as a lead for all the other conversations we need to have. Thank you for sharing this content!
“Your voice has to be the loudest.” I have three young boys and we prepare them for situations that they will face ahead of time. They should know what decisions they will make before they encounter those situations.
Porn is a disease that’s entered all households. If you’re not educating and monitoring your children just know society is. Stay strong and woke everyone ✊🏽. - P.s. I started a mens RUclips channel addressing issues like this, would appreciate any support 💯
My boy is 7yrs old and is touching himself when alone sometimes. He was looking up naked girls on Netflix. What kinda of conversation should I have with him
It's so strange that people in our so called modern world still are ashamed of sex and afraid of natural human bodies. Sexuality is natural. The important thing is to know that sex is best when it comes together with love. That's all.
Only thing you can do is be the best person you can in front of him, spend quality time with him, example is the teacher, much more than words. He will grow in a world when stuff you don't like or agree with will be normal, nothing to do about it, is part of living in a so called free world. He is not a fool and will choose between his lifetime rolemodel, but if his rolemodel is a prick who hit his mother or arrives drunk and is irresponsible then what can we do hehe :)
My son was lured into making a compromising video of himself and then was threatened with sending the video to his contact list. I told him to tell her "My Mom says Go Ahead, we don't care." We are fortunate to have already been attacked by the GOD/STATE and have NO REPUTATION TO PROTECT. GUFFAW
That may not be the best advice. It’s a difficult situation of course but your son is the one that will have to deal with it every damn day of his school life and afterwards if the video gets sent to all his friends and schoolmates. Sure, for you it’s not a big deal but have you seriously thought about how it’s going to affect him?
@@InDisskyS131 we were in a unique position to be able to dare that person to carry out the threat. MOST people are NOT able to just be embarrassed about it with a few "folks." (code 4 puppeteers) If they had done it and "friends" were lost... looks like a win/win for him no matter what the "hoe" does. I wasn't suggesting that anyone else try to apply our circumstances to their own situation. Just that it is important to let these young men and women know that there are predators online. Think about what you have to lose 🤔 in your own life and what is important to you and your family 👪.

Hit it head on and let's not stigmatize it, healthy and natural. Get on top of it ,like all things, before society does

Yep, if you don't someone else will. 👍
Truth: people will propagandized, either yours or "theirs"...
Right on. Teach respect for women and abstinence!
I talked to my son about puberty last summer, getting ready for the rest of it soon.

Spot on!👌 🤛appreciate ya
thanks
How can you teach your kids that a lot of things in porn are wrong? Especially the gender bender categories

A Guide To Christian Living by John Calvin helps in understanding the human heart/soul in its natural & regenerated state.
