I have been using a small Timbuk2 messenger bag from Amazon for my Bible bag. This brand last forever and is waterproof in the rain. It’s not leather, but I love how the shoulder strap adjusts and there are Multiple sizes to choose from with many different colors.
Interesting options. I like to store my Bibles in a Steadfast Bibles Bible cover. It fits my Schuyler Quentel and my Allan Readers Bibles wonderfully. I own one, so I will just slip in the Bible I want to take with me before I head out. This Bible cover allows me to carry just the Bible with a few pens and a small Field Notes note book, or I can slip it into a backpack when I travel with other things. It meets my needs well. It allows me to take my nice Bibles out without the worry of much damage.
I second this option! I use the Bible Armor similarly. On one missions trip I took, I had a topaz and my iPad in the main compartment, and a pitt minion in the outside zipper compartment. The Bible Armor is way underrated. I just wish they made one for a compact Bible and also an optional shoulder strap for the large one.
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
I will want the Humble Shield to house my Lion, should that pipe dream ever become reality. Reality keeps getting in the way, haha. That messenger bag is the perfect Pastor Bag; everything you might need throughout the day right at hsnd, with room for more. Might have to surprise our pastor with one, some day. Thanks for another good one, Tim.
I agree about that briefcase. I have a wheeled laptop case as I use it during life group for some shut in members to zoom into our group. I have a mesh bag that holds my charger, camera and mouse that fits in the front case and I can carry 2 full size bibles in the main compartment that I use for teaching, plus a journal, pens, etc and possibly another commentary to go with the lesson. I’m 78 yrs old and all of that weighs too much for my shoulders so the wheels are really nice.
I tried to do Bibles in my briefcase but could never make it work for anything but a compact or personal size, let alone multiple Bibles. It’s great for my laptop and notebooks though. I agree with you, I switched to a smallish messenger bag and have found life much easier! Great video.
All I've got for my Book is a soft vinyl case to keep it protected. It weighs nothing, is easy to clean, the only emblem on it is the thin cross zipper pull, and it fits Thomas Nelson standard print thinlines perfectly. I have been looking at leather options, but this does just fine and carried a price tag only slightly less than the NKJV that lives in it on our travels. I think the book was $37 Canadian and the case $35; it's got a few scuffs and creases on it over the past year, but better the sleeve than the pearl inside.
What I wish would exist are more covers/cases for smaller Bibles! I adore my "baby" Macleran, but I have to keep it in its box. I have a cloth purse/bag and the sharp corners will be damaging it the more I use it. I don't know why it's so hard to find properly fitting cases for small Bibles. It's actually worse to put them in cases that are larger because they slide around and get damaged that way. It needs to be something snug. Taking them with us is why we buy them!
I have the Humble Shield. It's great, but I'd like to see them update it by adding a carry handle on the top, and as you have stated, it might need to be a bit wider to add a compartment / space for chargers etc. .
Hi Tim, the first two bags are really nice. I would prefer the second bag because it's bigger and has the shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is a must in my opinion. I like to keep my hands free. At this time I'm using a laptop carrying bag from Target. It has a shoulder strap and all the pockets. The price was probably around $20.00. Walmart has them. Every Sunday School teacher needs a carrying bag for a bible and study materials. Thank you for sharing this video.
The Humble Purse needs a version 2.0 update. I've got a $70 leather Messenger bag on Amazon that works perfect. Similar in size to the shield but with the extra pockets on front and back. Hits the spot perfect.
The Humble Lamb bag looks the best. I'm looking for a strong bag to carry my Bible, missal, notebook & water ie: upright with 2 handles a strap would be great (probably not use). Most bags for women for bibles are same as years ago like a book cover purse, need something different.
The Humble Lamb bag is unisex. Also, I’m more likely to get things for men being a man myself. It’s a bummer there’s not more female reviewers in this space.
I thought everyone who owned an LV letter bag knew it was obviously coated canvas? When people spend a lot of money on an expensive bag, they might as well buy a replica kislux

I've been using my Humble Shield for over a year as a Sunday School teacher and love it
Agree. If you couldn't see the magnets from the outside I might have bought the humble lamb bag

I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a kislux bag and it looked just like it.
I like the classy leather bag. The humble lamb shield is a little small for me. What I have now is nylon bag, four computers
If you take that classy leather bag to a leather shop they will fix it for you .

Nice purse
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Make sure you recommend choosing a slightly smaller edition for your EDC than the one in the picture, haha.
Oops! Your pic had you holding up the black briefcase, which I saw as a HUGE Bible, haha.
On bag #1, do the magnets affect the Ipad? (Old school here where magnets and computers don't work well together).
It does not.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews Awesome! Thanks!
What about for us women? These are definitely geared for the men.
The Humble Lamb bag is unisex. Also, I’m more likely to get things for men being a man myself. It’s a bummer there’s not more female reviewers in this space.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews do you have names of female Bible reviewers? My algorithm won't suggest anything.
I think the Humble Lamb bag would be nice for women, too.

OK.
