This is the EXACT video I needed as an AT&T consumer. I’m switching from Postpaid Unlimited Extra to Prepaid Unlimited Plus. Top tier performance, 22 GB Premium data, 5G, 10GB Mobile hotspot, and HD video without all of the postpaid tack on fees. I wish I found this before I even went to a postpaid plan. I just wanna say thank you for your time, money, and amazingly informative video. I wish I could like it 10K more times and give it billions of views!
@@antitheist5567 I use Net10 with AT&T sim card provided by Net10 and get faster 4G speeds than all of my friends who have a postpaid and prepaid plan directly from AT&T. $45 for unlimited talk text and data, and 15GB of data to use as a Wifi Hotspot
You get premium data with the extra plan ... Real world speeds tend to be slower on prepaid. I wouldn't base it off just one test in a controlled setting
I think one of the biggest takeaways here is that congestion really matters A LOT!! Even on cheaper, deprioritized, lines you were able to get great speeds. As soon as you move into a town/city, speeds WILL slow down regardless of priority. Ps: I recently subscribed after seeing your video on the Big 3 plan comparison. I love the extra attention you put in to editing. It helps make everything easier to understand and overall just gives your videos a professional feel.
I’m on a 5 line account. I just upgrade my line from extra to elite plan for a extra $10 a month, and I noticed the slight speed bump at work where my speed was at a crawl. Now it’s usable going from about 4mbps up to 15-25 with the updated plan. The difference in priority was noticeable.
You might want to disable the second sim on devices that are dual sim on iOS. I've found dual sim makes speeds slower as well as introduces oddities, at least during my own testing.
Wow loved your in-depth review and visuals. Also, i liked that you included QCI levels, very informative. Great work as always! What happen to LOS Mobile?
Thank you, ALBERTEEZY! I actually did Test Los Mobile as well, however for some reason I was getting the exact same speeds and performance as Unlimited Extra. I suspect this is because Los Mobile was on eSIM in the Extra phone, and because I was switching between the two plans so quickly the phone was not able to reprovision to the higher QCI 6 value with higher priority.
Los Mobile is a private business reseller that used to advertise themselves as a "MVNO". Their website goes to 404 not found now. Must have got shutdown 🤣
You’re one of the best cell plan reviewers out there you should definitely consider getting a robot arm kind of like PhoneBuff to eliminate any variation in start time that way it can truly be a head to head comparison

You put the sides of the phones together, so those antennas get blocked. You should space them out. This also doesn't tell what bands those phones were on, or what the server was that was tested. Do you have any data on this?
