This is the EXACT video I needed as an AT&T consumer. I’m switching from Postpaid Unlimited Extra to Prepaid Unlimited Plus. Top tier performance, 22 GB Premium data, 5G, 10GB Mobile hotspot, and HD video without all of the postpaid tack on fees. I wish I found this before I even went to a postpaid plan. I just wanna say thank you for your time, money, and amazingly informative video. I wish I could like it 10K more times and give it billions of views!

I think one of the biggest takeaways here is that congestion really matters A LOT!!
Even on cheaper, deprioritized, lines you were able to get great speeds. As soon as you move into a town/city, speeds WILL slow down regardless of priority.
Ps: I recently subscribed after seeing your video on the Big 3 plan comparison. I love the extra attention you put in to editing. It helps make everything easier to understand and overall just gives your videos a professional feel.

I’m on a 5 line account. I just upgrade my line from extra to elite plan for a extra $10 a month, and I noticed the slight speed bump at work where my speed was at a crawl. Now it’s usable going from about 4mbps up to 15-25 with the updated plan. The difference in priority was noticeable.

Thank you, ALBERTEEZY! I actually did Test Los Mobile as well, however for some reason I was getting the exact same speeds and performance as Unlimited Extra. I suspect this is because Los Mobile was on eSIM in the Extra phone, and because I was switching between the two plans so quickly the phone was not able to reprovision to the higher QCI 6 value with higher priority.

Awesome video Stetson! I had heard in a different video that you went to IC. That’s the market I live in. Glad to know we have something in common. I did have one question for you. With these plans the ones that only give 480p did you still get 480 with 5 G access? Standard def would be low with over 100 mps speeds. I think if you went post paid the obvious choice is elite. Combo that with circled in and your golden on att. Again just my two cents

Operator Specific QCI value ranges from 128 to 254. The new standardized QCI values 65, 66, 69 and 70 is accepted for configuration under all existing CLIs that involves QCI. QCI validation is performed during configuration to avoid invalid values. Existing QOS control on all bearers is extended to the new QCIs values.

Great test, you keep getting better, it is done more scientific and better presentation than your previous T-Mobile and Verizon comparisons. The only improvement would be to run in a 3rd highly congested location (such as downtown or college campus) and at different times (6pm for busiest, 2 am for least congested). Your next test should compare 5G from different networks and priority levels.

Also have two postpaid AT&T tablet plans and on 5g inside…..average speed is 50mbps. Fastest speed was 270mbps on 5g and very close to a AT&T tower. On the 4g network….around 20mbps. Wanting to get out of straight talk into a plan with 40 gigs hotspot and good coverage but the plans are currently all lowering prices and applying more perks so I’m waiting to see what Verizon does seeing as how they offer the least and charge the most. They can’t keep doing what they are doing for long so I just want to wait before I make the jump.

If you wanna watch sports live and stream movies all day long you gotta go with cricket wireless it’s 22 GB unlimited data plan and it’s the best unlimited data plan their is I’ve tried T-Mobile it’s slower than a turtle same as boost mobile same as Verizon and sprint and with cricket wireless you can stream sports , movies and watch RUclips all day without any interruptions and no signal errors

I love AT&T never regretted switching over especially since Verizon and Comcast are super congested here and their network management is really good, on first net I got insane speeds sometimes several hundred megabytes a second and on unlimited starter I get upwards of 40mbps I think the highest I got was 120 on starter but that was on a better phone that had 5g just to test, unless your in a congested area starter or even NVMOs like wing are fine

Metro is deprioritized T-Mobile. T-Mobile’s own branded prepaid plans other than Essentials are not deprioritized and are the way to go.

Awesome job, and pretty funny. Pure talk!!
Though, for me, I'd like to see the differences with the mid-range prepaid or cricket plans; my family isn't one to need "unlimited" or the higher prioritization. Think like the prepaid $300/year plan would still be priority 2, 3, or pure talk levels? Haha
