That said I think the more offensive stuff is less challenging and thus less hurtful. If someone is just calling you a dumb cunt, you can put that aside as the act of an arsehole. Question that got me throw out of Sunday school and the church? "Hmmmmm If a marriage isn't official until it is consummated, and Mary was married to Joseph, how could she still be a virgin?" It took me 5 years until I found out other people didn't believe too. All part of the misinformation and indoctrination drilled into me since birth.

He refused to answer .. quite 'legitimate' questions .. so my brother and I decided we'd had enough and spent the next several weeks 'wagging' Sunday school .. electing to do much more interesting things like exploring the local 'Amazonian Jungle' (or it seemed like that to us at that age) and building a tree-house ... you know .. the things that kids SHOULD be doing at that age instead of being 'indoctrinated' into the worlds biggest cults! After a few weeks of doing this, we returned home from our Sunday escapade to find our parents had been contacted by the Church to find out where we were. I think the reason they rang was more about our usage of the 'sixpence' we were being given by my father to be put in the Church collection bowl .. that we had elected to spend on a packet of 'Fruit Tingles' each instead .. than on us actually being there. My father sat us down and asked why we stopped attending and after explaining about the refusal to answer questions asked .. to our amazement .. he said 'fair enough' and we were never made to go again. In hindsight .. we were lucky enough to have 'decent' parents who took into account what 'we' thought .. even at that age .. unlike MOST other parents who were 'forcing' their children to attend regardless .... something I see today as tantamount to 'child abuse'!!

Mostly disagreeing and hating each other over things that are completely irrelevant. With the typical human brain. Where is the best place to hide the esoteric truth ? Buried in fallacy. Having actual morals is better. You have axioms that create a foundation in which your morals derive from leading one to less hypocrisy. Attempting is meaningless. I attempted not to assault someone but oops. Trying is not good enough. People that do not have a foundation are full of contradiction which leads to cognitive dissonance. When a person can not reconcile the contradictory morals that they believe in then it harms them mentally. There is a fundamental need in all humans to be watched over, to be cared for - who does that normally? Mom. Dad. What do we call God? Father, in heaven. Holy mother mary. What do we do? We ask Father favors, "Dear father in heaven, can I stay up longer, and hang out with my friend?" I don't wanna demean anyone, but that is basically what it does. Father in heaven never *actually* does anything, a hurricane blows because a hurricane blows, it rains because it rains and when it stops it stops, regardless of how many people prayed to heavenly father for it - we all know this - we all know people prayed to God "please no, please no, please no!" while their airplane was diving, and they died anyway, cus God doesn't REALLY listen This is 100% human, because I - an atheist - will also "pray" - I just call it "wish" instead, and instead of praying to Heavenly Father, I wish to idunno... my immediate surroundings - the slippery ice, that's gonna break my hip "no, no, no, God NO!" and yes, we will also wish to God, because of language.
Not upset with you, just upset RUclips makes you do it. btw the bible does say it's round which is hilarious in it's own way. Not that I'm arguing with him lol

So funny watching black people reacting to this. 99% of the time at least one of them is religious 😅. This guy seems to get it. She was furious. That's indoctrination for you
I'm not religious, because I had an education. But I have a question. Doesn't it say somewhere, that Christians have to forgive? If so, there can't be a Hell. When rapists, murderers. drug dealers, drunk drivers etc arrive at the Pearly Gates. St Peter has to forgive them and let them in. So Hell must be empty 😇

Honestly, editing out certain words here is missing his point as well. Not all of us live in the "oh no! My virgin ears!" USA. 😂
😂🤣...i gotta play the game YT created lol
There are too many grey areas? Not as many as you think. A lot of those grey areas are white areas that have been deliberately dirtied.
There is a fundamental need in all humans to be watched over, to be cared for - who does that normally? Mom. Dad.
What do we call God? Father, in heaven. Holy mother mary.
What do we do? We ask Father favors, "Dear father in heaven, can I stay up longer, and hang out with my friend?"
I don't wanna demean anyone, but that is basically what it does. Father in heaven never *actually* does anything, a hurricane blows because a hurricane blows, it rains because it rains and when it stops it stops, regardless of how many people prayed to heavenly father for it - we all know this - we all know people prayed to God "please no, please no, please no!" while their airplane was diving, and they died anyway, cus God doesn't REALLY listen
This is 100% human, because I - an atheist - will also "pray" - I just call it "wish" instead, and instead of praying to Heavenly Father, I wish to idunno... my immediate surroundings - the slippery ice, that's gonna break my hip "no, no, no, God NO!" and yes, we will also wish to God, because of language.
Actually, he is wrong about Russia. A lot of people are very religious in Russia. Ever heard of the russian orthodox church?
Not upset with you, just upset RUclips makes you do it.
btw the bible does say it's round which is hilarious in it's own way.
Not that I'm arguing with him lol
The bible says a lot of things in its own way that doesn't make any sense 😂🤣
People knew the world was round before the Bible was written so it’s not really a big deal. Pythagoras wrote it down in like 500 BC, and 200 years later Eratosthenes actually calculated the Earth’s circumference almost correctly
@@rzrshrk7883 Yeah it doesn't prove anything when the bible says "the circle of the earth" unless we believe people were dumb and couldn't possibly think of that themselves. lol
But they were not dumb.
the fact it describes that shell with the holes (stars) and up /undwr. amd some other other stuff, basically the bible claims the earth is flat. which is only 100 % wrong😂😂
Aussie humour. Fn oath.
aussie's are c**ts
The woman looks dumbfounded and totally offended!!
even god didn´t like smart people. Just see what happened to Adam and Eve that ate the apple and it made them smarter and he kicked them out hahah
Jeff always drinks on stage those are Beers not apple juice he is drinking on stage
Jim has a few recorded live performances where you can see he's completely wasted. Still good shows though.
not the best clip to react to as they're all edited from their wider context - some of them don't even include the payoff. Highly recommend watching his 'God is drunk at a party' sketch
Definitely don’t analyze your beliefs. What good did that ever do?
1 Samuel 15:3 proves how evil the Abrahamic cults are.
A book written by men proves not much at all.
@@lesliedavis2185 Clearly you've never read anything written by Einstein. Take your misandry elsewhere.
@@lesliedavis2185 I wrote a scientific paper that proved the need for polycrops in the developmental health of honeybee brood. I'm a man.
God loves you unconditionally right? Unless you don't love him back, then he sends you straight to hell. Sounds pretty conditional to me
Oh but you send yourself. That’s the standard “rationalization” many Christians repeat.
The constant interruptions from muting the swearing makes this video unwatchable.
No it doesnt 🤷🏾♂️
It has nothing to do with what country you're born into now i get comedy and all of that but i just feel he's painting a backwards picture of religion and falsely putting it in a bad light like for the longest i was brought up Christian i stopped believing around my high school days yeah i paraded around saying i was but that was a lie to make parents happy but then i did my own research looked at every religion including the Bible the Vedas and even Zoroastrianism but when you look at the bible you have a bunch of books that predict stuff that happens 100 years later with the person predicting them having no reason for knowing other than a divine intervention but what is really interesting is when you get through all of the old testament which is pointing to someone to come it says it throughout from Genesis-Malachi to the messiah and they say a bunch of things that he'll do and then comes the new testament written by the apostles people that was with Jesus for 3 years who claimed to be god and claimed he was the messiah mentioned and he does every prophesy that was prophesied in the old testament and then his followers even Saul later Paul who killed Christians converted and spread and wrote so munch abt Christ was killed for not just a belief but what they say and that was Jesus resurrected from the dead and over 500 people saw it too idk but i just can't see it any other way personally
Interesting differing reactions. He thinks it funny, she in uncomfortable.
So funny watching black people reacting to this. 99% of the time at least one of them is religious 😅. This guy seems to get it. She was furious. That's indoctrination for you
Most of the world knows God is bs.
nope
@sixslinger9951 You are uneducated
Your comment is a non-sequitur. Doesn't it say somewhere that bleeps have to bloop? Then that means that there can not be a blorp. It is not logical.
How Jim Jefferies feels about religious people is how I feel about atheist and liberals
All atheists and liberals?
