Hey mystery reccaped i absolutely love the series recaps u do its a much better time efficent and fun way to watch series. Please dont stop recapping series😊😊
I think this movie is closest to the future we are heading. The one percent rich are making something like Elysium and not exactly going to Mars. While we see Earth getting ravaged by disease and climate change. Already huge wealth shifted to rich and many fell below poverty line.
What is most painful about this movie is that when medbays land on Earth it becomes clear that there was never a resource problem - there is enough medbays to heal whole Earths population - and nothing stands in the way of Earthers being healed. Nothing. So this whole time denials of sending medbays to Earth had even no financial value, nothing.
True, but it does reflect real society. There has physically been enough food produced on the earth so that no one goes hungry for a very long time, yet world hunger kept existing. A similar thing can be said about healthcare and drugs too. Even if there was always enough for everyone, it's realistic that the higher class would try to keep it for themselves.
@@panner11 It does not reflect reality at all. It's not like rich are hoarding food so no one else can get it. You think that each time I throw away my food I have to make a decision if I should rather donate it to a hungry child? No, I throw it away because there is nothing else I could do with it. @@potatoes402 you are right. It's not their obligation to help the world. Realize we are talking about earth's issues and not individual issues. You are right. But it does make sense for them to help when they have billions of dollars they got off our backs, our labor, our struggles, our pain. . . They have billions of dollars. Money that they can't possibly spend in their life time, their grandkids life time and their grandkids grand kids lifetime. It's not that we are mad they have money. I like how Max actually died. I mean, it was sad and stuff, but he did it to save the world, so that’s a good reason. I’m glad that he stayed dead, because using a MedBay or something to bring him back would have taken away from the sacrifice.
I love the narrator!! Brings emotion and humanness (Ik its not a word) all while keeping a monotone and calm voice, the jokes are actually funny. I think I prefer the narrator over the A.I now
I nearly cried watching this. If we don’t do something about overpopulation and climate warming, our world will soon be like the earth shown in the video. It won’t even be reversible- like I’m generally worried for society.
Watching all these movie recaps and seeing the same actors used more than I realized. Like I get bankable actors that get used to generate a fan base or hype. But I always love when new actors come about that finally make their break in a role.
I watched this movie about a year ago with my family, they new planet really scared me, cause I’m so afraid of height I’d feel like I’d fall upwards, and if I were to walk all the way up there, I’d be terrified.
While this fantasy is an interesting thought exercise it is important to remember 2 things: > Scarcity exists and there won't always be enough to satisfy all who want > Self-interested "compassion" is the main tool for those who want to gain or keep hegemonic status

What’s sad about this movie is that this is actually happening right now
Literally it's happening, rich are growing more richer, poor are growing more poorer.
If one part of the society is growing richer then it is completely true that one part is definitely becoming poorer.
I think Spider is the real hero. He cared about humanity
"The only thing worse than the slum, is living in the friendzone."
Gaddam! He didn't have to do me dirty like that.
Ahahahaha 😂 you found the joke
i know the pain
I like how Max actually died. I mean, it was sad and stuff, but he did it to save the world, so that’s a good reason. I’m glad that he stayed dead, because using a MedBay or something to bring him back would have taken away from the sacrifice.
6:34 notice how the rich live on a star = a pentagram.... deep asf
4:38 did they really have to make this guy more heartless.
I watched this movie even before you uploaded this video
"The only thing worse than the slum is living in the friendzone"
😂
No it's Jessica and John. They're both disgusting than the slum!
The only thing worse than living in the slum’s, is living in the friend zone” Me: Mhmmmm
I love the narrator!! Brings emotion and humanness (Ik its not a word) all while keeping a monotone and calm voice, the jokes are actually funny. I think I prefer the narrator over the A.I now
The art direction on this film is so spot on
Only thing worse than living in a slum is living in the friends zone 😂😂
"This could have been avoided with a simple snap of a finger"
-Thanos
I remember watching it in the cinema. I was so sad how still, to this day, the same happens even without the Elysium.
Max deserves medal 🏅
“The only thing worse then living in the slums, is living in the friend zone.”
Was I the only one who thinks this is way too true?
2:16

2:38 if you look closely, his skin literally spells out the word *“RICH”* in caps
I like how all the comments are about "The only thing worse than living in the slums, is living in the friend zone"
the impostor gonna have to use that facility to do his sussy things
Bruh
Stop bro 😎
Lomaoooo 😂
Oh shit. 😭😭😭
Lol
"mother like nun"
I'm sorry but that's such a funny phrase I laughed hard.
Max legit completed his promise and save all people in earth. He is a legend. RIP
I nearly cried watching this. If we don’t do something about overpopulation and climate warming, our world will soon be like the earth shown in the video. It won’t even be reversible- like I’m generally worried for society.
Population isn't the problem... Repressive regimes and fascism is the problem
Watching all these movie recaps and seeing the same actors used more than I realized. Like I get bankable actors that get used to generate a fan base or hype. But I always love when new actors come about that finally make their break in a role.
I really love your humor. It makes sense why you've gained 100K subscribers in the past week and a half. Everyone should subscribe to you.
“The only thing worse than living in the slums is living in the friend zone”
Lol
Nobody:
Not even a guy:
This movie: hey how ‘bout I copy Halo game and make it in 2154
Same
I watched this movie about a year ago with my family, they new planet really scared me, cause I’m so afraid of height I’d feel like I’d fall upwards, and if I were to walk all the way up there, I’d be terrified.
That’s all u got our of it😂
"The only thing worse than living in slum, is living in the friend zone" oh my god, the roast, damn
Ahh the memories, this was the first R rated film I ever watched and I have fond memories of that time
While this fantasy is an interesting thought exercise it is important to remember 2 things:
> Scarcity exists and there won't always be enough to satisfy all who want
> Self-interested "compassion" is the main tool for those who want to gain or keep hegemonic status
your BS rephrased:
> "i got mine so fuck you"
> "don't do anything to try and improve things because 'it might get worse' "
seriously, just stop.

Max sacrificing himself to register everyone on Earth as an Elysium citizen made him a hero in that world.
Glad that he scarify himself so his crew could override and send down space ship with healing med bay.
I reaaaaally love that the recaps have more personality and more interactive with the audience. Im exciteeed for more future recaps. KEEP BEEING AMAZING!! 😁🐯✨👏
There's this channel man of recaps he recaps movies and tv shows in a great and funny way like minute movies
Okay so this movie sort of reminded me of how many people risk a lot to go to different countries so that can have a better life
imagine in 2154 the rich actually does make a planet
just recreating the freaking movie LOL
Respect to *Max* and his orphanage care taker *Nun*📈📈
Love how no-one in sci-fi movies know they can make copies of code. Or pass it via Internet to multiple locations at the same time. No, it has to be conviniently carried in a physical object like a USB (or in this case a brain).. LMAO
