The writing of this show has gone so downhill , that evil wheel chair thing floored me , what an insane way to be a writer or creator, insane
It's like we're attending a funeral, and the people in charge has hired a prancing clown to give the eulogy.
As an American former fan who loved this show since the 70's, I absolutely expect that Brits should of course get first showing of any British-based show. I mean, it's so glaringly obvious. As for the show itself, the first Special where they degraded The Doctor by stating that he couldn't understand the solution because he "presented as a male" made me realize that this show wasn't being written for me any more. When they "Bonged" a new TARDIS with a joke hammer, I walked away. So now they can have it and spread whatever messages they want to their tiny Woke base, because that's the only ones who will watch now; Preaching to the Choir.
I walked away after watching the show degenerate (no pun intended) during Capaldi's era. Not that it was Capaldi's fault - the bigoted anti male writing bothered me after a while. Never expected it to sink to such lows.
@@banedon8087 I think there are a lot more of us that RTD alienated than the BBC are willing to acknowledge. Their stated plan was to send us old duffers off and replace us with younger viewers, attracted by their "hip, new and now" look. I wonder how that's paying off?

Chibnall chased so many away that i doubt there is anyone who can bring them back to the show at this point, and i suspect there is no one at present that can repair it now.
Dr. Who is Dead!
It died in 1989, there was a blip on the radar in 1996 with the T.V. Movie and then we had a proper glorious soft reboot and continuation in 2005, sadly when Moffat first took over in 2010 he decided to constantly break the canon and rewrite the rule book combine that with numerous plot holes and constant sexual gratuitous innuendos and we ended up with a preachy PC nightmare instead of just a fun show with a time traveller who saves the day, we ended up with you are bigot if you don’t like the constant preaching.
I was happy until Tennant left. Some of the episodes the followed were OK or sometimes even good but you could see it losing its way. By the time capaldi got half way through it was really obvious and it only got worse with Jodie. I genuinely thought it would it improve once Tennant and Russel were returning but boy was I wrong. And now we have the worst doctor of all time combined with the worst writing of all time. Its truly dead.
I'm betting Millie's replacing "Rose" in hastily rewritten scenes.
There were only 12 Doctors, Capaldi was the last.
13 i count the War Doctor even if he didn't call himself the Doctor

I cry when I see what has happened to our beloved Dr Who. It has affected me so much I can't watch things with David Tennant or Catherine Tate in it. I feel betrayed by it all. I feel so angry about what has been done. I agree with Christopher Eccleston. Fire them all. Get back to some form of normality.

That's the second time I have seen this recently with the US seeing this first and also with the recent Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, two very British projects. It's almost as if they go out of their ways to disrespect you Brits.
The ministry of ungentlemanly warefare was directed by a brit, screenplay by a brit, based on a book by a brit, and staring mostly brits.....
And isn't available in the UK, it is in many other countries.

Nah, we say "f**k's sake" not "f**k sakes". Makes me cringe when I hear the latter in American things. I've only recently heard it in one or two British things. I really hope it doesn't get normalised in actual English 😬🙏
Man, please stop bagging "the Leftys". I've agreed with everything you've said about the show because the changes are beyond bad and the points you've made have been accurate. But I AM Left and it was Doctor Who that MADE me left forty-odd years ago.

There's Left and there's Far Left. There's slant, and then there's degree. There's also a thing called "Horseshoe Theory" (don't take my word for it, look it up) that describes the Far Left and Right as being similar, how and why.
