    I have used mine for over 7 years for hunting. Mine is labeled under the name CenterPoint XR175 brand. They are line for line the same bow. I bought much better bolts and have successfully harvested each year. Very accurate within 35 yards.

      Sure my man. Great bow to start on and, super fun and well made for the priecepoint. And as you may read, you can take down game with it as well.

    Thank You. It looks to be wrapped at an angle. I think I will do this. Definitely a better protection is a plus.

    kArchery JAG 1, 175 lbs crossbow. Brand new. It was never used. My question is, when do you think the fiberglass arm gets old enough to break?

    Very nice review. Certain way of using tape on the limb? Does it interfere with the shot or fps? What kind of tape?

    • @RobertMarting
      @RobertMarting 4 месяца назад

      TU! No it doesnt effect the shot or fps. It actually offers piece of mind. When they blow up(rare) u dont want it close to ur face and the tape absorbs it if it happens. I use gorilla camo tape for this one. Some boards even add that it could increase fps as the tape ads some tension to the prods. That hasnt been comfirmed however.

      Wrap the tape in an angled circular motion then clip it torwads close to each end on each prod side. Then cut a small piece and wrap each end. I go from inward out; abt an inch close to the tips. I dont think it matters which direction you go.

    Cool, bought two last year at pawn shop for 100$. Both looked pretty new,one had the stock quiver otherhad a sling both had cheap 3 dot red dot site. I use whitness bloodline bolts 20". And mossy oak 20" shoots dead on and hard up to 25ish yards.30 ok to but starting loose power after that. I do have luminex speed ring scope on top and its lovely. I purchased a horton bone collector 3 weeks back new synthetic strings. All strings no cables had factory scope for up 60 yards got the parker sidewinder crank. All for 175$. Crank was new in pack bow used looks good. At local bow shop on consiment. Need to shoot it haven't had much time pops went n hospital same day i got it,week later my daughter totalled my chevy. There both ok. Pops and daughter. So theres that. Like get n woods this week. Do some bone collection if i xould see any. See deer all the time.In the yard every day until u go on the hill. But i cant pop pops deer he feeds over his house. Lol. Not starving yet.😅.
    Good video like them jaguars simple and they work. Far from the best but gets the job done.

    great review, I bought the barnett wildcat recurve but having to return it, my bolts are sitting not flush and are to the left. tried 2 different types of bolts and almost missing target and way left. Im torn now between this bow or just splurging and getting the excalibur mag air.

      Thanks bud, yes I've heard comparisons to the barnett and this bow a few times. This bow is great, cheap and actually more fun to shoot than my Xcal to me. Just easier to handle and great fun with practice. Can't go wrong with Xcal, it's just more of a hunting bow and a beast.

      I had the same issue with my jag 1 & the bolts! trust me man, get some new bolts, get some good practice tips & good quality broadheads aye. My bolts were flying everywhere, far left, then far right, then far up. Now with good quality bolts n broadheads just dead centre every time aye. Already killed a goat with it as well, very efficient.

      @@jkcbrah4708 bought some decent bolts and my jag is dead nuts accurate, i have yet to take a deer with it yet, hope to in the coming weeks. using 125gr muzzy trocars. Hoping they get me a nice pass through a 20-25 yards. How has it performed on game so far for you? and what braodheads? I shot one of the 125gr Muzzys and it was almost identical to my field points very pleased!

      @RobertMarting 11 месяцев назад +1

      Amazon, just do some searches on string/prod length for this bow, you'll find some options. I got my string cheap there, wax as well.
