Just like any place on earth, there is an annual day-night cycle that corresponds to the season, with the equatorial regions having the smallest difference seasonally, to the polar regions having the greatest difference, seasonally. No place on earth will ever have a "shortest night" being more than 12 hours.

Information about bhutan seems false, although, it's been 5 years since i visited, it's not dangerous or expensive as the channel shows, i stayed for 2 weeks and not a single day, i paid 200$ , travelling is cheap, beautiful and safe enough. Even hiking the tiger's nest is not that dangerous unless you've an issue climbing and bad health. One of the most beautiful and happy countries I visited.
In small defense of Americans on vacation, those people are usually used to wearing suits and dressing up at work and they feel like they should dress down for holiday. Granted, I understand those people are visiting places where the people dress up. So they should as well.

I've been going to New Smyrna Beach for the summer (and often for spring break) every year since my Grammy bought a condo there in the 60's (I'm 46) and I've never seen a shark. I've never been there (thousands of hours over many many years) when there was a shark attack. I have seen a lot of dolphins and I was stung by a jellyfish when I was 8 but other than that no scary encounters. In fact it's my happy place.
The three a long time ago we go to the hotel but there's a twist the hotel was high up a mountain the roads are not like something you would not as a normal road but the road is like a curve in a curve my carbon each other like I was so scared and there was fog but we did not die we just made it

it's pristine... but the jungles are full of giant land leeches like in certain other tropical Asian countries. It's like out of a scifi horror movie.
