These guys are a Christian Rock Band. Bob Carlisle is most notably know for his song Butterfly Kisses. The band released 6 albums during the 80's and early 90's. Not a bad band overall.
Greg X Volz was the lead singer of Petra in the 70's and early 80's.

Thanks for playing the song brother! You might want to check out Power House from White Heart. Also, from White Heart, their version of Little Drummer Boy since Christmas is around the corner. It starts out traditional then changes to rock and the vocals are amazing near the end of the song. It came out in 1988 and is such a great version.

John Schmitt, former lead singer of Head East and Petra. John Elefante is the former singer of Kansas, Mastedon, and he had is own solo thing going. Rick CUa is the former singer of the Outlaws. Greg X Volz was the singer of Petra and was offered the lead singer position for REO Speedwagon but turned it down for Petra.
Sorry, that should be John Schlitt, and Rick Cua was the bassist for the Outlaws, not the singer.
Loved Allies! Bob Carlisle could rock with the best of them vocally, and Randy Thomas could play any genre on his axe. I first heard Randy playing lead guitar and joined Bryan Duncan in the vocals with the Sweet Comfort Band back in the mud 70’s. Randy is a master guitarist.

Textbook 80's movie soundtrack sound and vibe for sure....one riff kind of sounded like The Monkees Last Train to Clarksville, I thought. This one was fun but I am left feeling like I have World History homework due tomorrow and an Earth Science test to study for ... 😸
