Parts of it almost don't sound Faroese to me, but it definitely is. The giveaway is some of the "T" words she sings. I may not know many words in Faroese and not always pronounce them correctly, but I spent almost 3 months over there listening to many conversations everyday. I was lucky enough to see her perform live this past summer. She's amazing. Guðrið is pronounced Goo-ree, as the ð is typically silent. I miss the place so much, even though it gets so windy and rainy.
