I have the twin lol. I have a 94 2x4 5sp with air bags on the rear. She had 330K whenever I pick her up last year. I drive it everyday. For $1,500 I’m not complaining.
If you have no lockup and overdrive from the computer your TPS is probably bad. You can apply ground to the OD circuit just like you did for lockup to enable OD. You can look online to test the TPS too.
Just to let you know I had to clean the ground connections for my dash in my 01 ram because I lost my gauges I also cleaned where it mounted to the body and it cleared up my issue. So go over all the ground connections and you might not even need the switch.
What size tires? I almost want to say you're not even going into overdrive, rpms seem way high, with 235/85/16 tires, 4.10s and a 47rh you should be right about 1950 rpm at 65
my dually has 4.10 rear gears 2wd and at 60mph im at 1900 rpm at 70 mph im at 2300 rpm...it has Lt 215/85 r16 tires...what size tires are on your truck?
eric buck my work truck has 4.10 also it’s 2wd with 12 ft stake bed When I do at 65 mph at 1800 rpm or 80 mph at 2500 rpm I put oversized tires on its 235/80
yeah i was gonna try taller tires to try and get my rpms at 2000 rpm when im going 70 mph towing on the interstate...my brother is running 265 85 r16 on his dually and his rpms are even lower...
Buddys has a 94 12 valve and found out his brake light switch or something was causing that before he five speed swapped it look something up with that .
I would say buy watching the rpms the lockup is not working when it goes into lock up the rpms should drop 300rpm or more. I would drop the pan put new senors in it. Also the tps is probably shot. You can buy a tps delete kit or make your own. Also I would adjust ur bands to. You can also try and adjust the tv cable also
Landon Schad would look clean on this truck it’s cheap would last and he said he not trying to put the money in it to paint so it’s a good clean looking option that hides marks easy and last long unlike a wrap would
I painted my whole jeep that was originally blue. I painted it black with 2 gallons covered the mirrors and the roof rack and the door handles. Only $275 invested with sandpaper and everything!! I love it.
Monstaliner the entire thing red. It actually would look really good. And then throw some 22x10 fuel wheels in the front with the matching dually wheels out back.

You could've another toggle for OD? Or pull the pan n valve body n swap the solenoids n gov pressure switch.
Does the size, gauge or caliber of the wire you get matter for this. I got some wire but its kinda big

Ground problems can make your overdrive shift funky or not shift at all so check all your grounds

I did not, i believe it ended up being a trans issue overall. I ended up selling it to one of my subscribers who i believe still has it today.

Make sure the ground for your overdrive off switch is good and verify it’s not stuck on. I suppose this is going to be a tow rig?
Check all your ground wires from battery to body and frame and engine make sure they clean had same issue with a 98 cummins
Also clean the terminals really good and clean every ground on the truck.

I don't think you have od. Could be a trans temp sensor and look up how to adjust your tps. It's really easy, you just need a multimeter.

Yep, no OD. You have a 3 speed. Check tps, trans temp switch, tv valve, and OD solenoid.

What exatcly does the lock up do? Do u need a built trans?

What rear do you have? Probably have a bad ecm or it’s on it’s way
Mines 410 rear end and at 60 miles per hour with torque converter locked up it runs at 1900 rpm you may have an overdrive issue

If you were in overdrive you'd be at like 16 to 1700 rpm at 65 to 70. Your at almost 2500 at 60, that's way to high
