Did it already, found out it was my clutch at the end. When I was putting my car back together, a bolt on my mechatronic unit snapped inside and is stuck, does it really need all of them?

Anyone know what that part is called. The black piece @5:10? I tore mine up trying to bring down the valve body. Might have to get it replaced or a whole new valve body
Hey 50’s kid, once you reset the adaptations did you do the “drive procedure “ for the box to relearn / readjust adaptations or did you just drive it like you normally would?
hi do you need to code the new valve body whenever you replace it with the old one? Im planning to replace my valve body with a used one from ebay (the same valve body number i hope) will i need to code the new valve body once replaced or just adaptation will do? Im speaking of 8hp45 thanks a lot

Hey there quick question.. I have a e46 and I'm trying to rotate the engine manually. What's the best way to do so? Should I use the 22m crankshaft bolt with spark plugs out to close the intake valves
Love your videos man! Just changed my oil pan gasket because of your video but idk im thinking about selling my 335i but then i dont and im stressing myself out thinking about if i should or not, got any opinions on this? 😭
It's not necessarily the pressure regulator that is bad on the 6HP19, that was the 5HP19. Also, you need a special jig and special tooling to install an oversized valve. I'd have spent the $600 in that and more. Would have needed a vacuum rig just to diagnose which valves were bad. It's a lot. Some things are better left to the professionals. :-)

Transgo has one on rock auto it's just a few springs clips and billet valves
Does it cause the transmission to almost slam into 2nd gear? It’s very aggressive
What CODE READER do you have in this video?
Great video! Why did you have to change valve body on E46?
he said it had a shift hesitation on certain shifts..
On the E46 I had vibration issues. On this car, the E90, it was late shifting.
@@50sKid A pity you had to do it after all the rebuild. Did mine after your vids, is not the sharpest shifts in town but drives ok.

I’ve got a whole series on rebuilding that engine. The knowledge you seek is in there
How comes you didn't decide to rebuild it yourself, like you did with the 5hp19?
It doesn't need it. That one had a spun bearing in the oil pump so it basically had to come out. Well, not really, but kinda sorta
@@50sKid I mean rebuilding this valve body yourself with a kit like the last one, changing the soft parts yourself.
Yeah I remember your spun bearings, both times actually 😁
Any way of knowing if it's Gen1 or Gen2 without taking it apart
if you have the newer style electronic shifter it's gen 2. Gen 1 has a mechanical shifter with a shift cable going to the transmission.
Programming was not neccessary?
