Brentford1967 I wish someone would put together a record and film of the ‘79 concerts. They were fantastic but I’m loving the new stuff as well. I’d love to see them live in 2021.
They are bloody brilliant. We watched them live in Wolverhampton recently and I can tell you I was in awe. The negative comments are stupid. It's like saying she was beautiful at 16 now she looks crap cause she's 50! This gig doesn't capture the atmosphere as it does live. Believe me they may be older than in the 80's but they are still fantastic

He said that Brad understood the Jamaican way of drumming low on the kit. There is another clip somewhere of Brad drumming with the camera looking directly down on him, its astonishing. Roddy Byers told me that one of the reasons Brad was so good was that he could switch styles effortlessly and within a song, so he could combine elements of Ska, Soul and Rock seamlessly.

Every time I drive past Coventry ,midnight,3am,6am,8am(stuck in traffic) m6, north or heading south home I think about the specials and the concrete jungle that is Coventry and hope never again will it be attacked by either Germany or THATCHER
