In less than two years of career they shook UK as few other bands. Many critisized them but they were a fantastic trasgressive and wild band. Paul Cook drums are incredible as the rough voice of Rotten. Pure Energy, Wow
And contrary to all the horror and dismay, there was no lack of talent here, old mate.
They are original and with special energy, even today when listening. Nothing is similar, unic

I still remember seeing this clip for the first time on Countdown Australia. I was like, "WTF was that?!?". My initiation into the crazy, high energy world of Punk Rock, with so much more to come. 40 years later it remains my favourite era in rock music!
Yes, Molly Meldrum played only a few seconds, not the whole song. I remember as a 12 year old leaping up and going “what the hell was that????”. I wanted to hear more and went looking….

And with Glen agreeable to reform the original band on years to come made himself, Rotten, Cook and Jones more filthy lucre tours. God save the Queen and the Sex Pistols. Shame that stupid netfllix /Disney creation along with Danny Boyle Courtesy of Jones and Cook put the final nail in the coffin of the pure brilliance that the sex pistols were. God save our memories. ☺️
