My workshop was a mess! It's already a small space but it's even worse when not organized. I had to remove all of it so I can start fresh. Added new level floor, coat of paint, more lights and new workbenches and shelves. Now it's much more enjoyable space to work in and everything has it's place.
Looking forward to start working on some projects!

wow... that's a really big deal. that improvement is something that will not only affect this project, but every future project! congratulations!
Thank you! Yeah, I'm putting the upgrated workshop to good use.
Very nice working place, I'm in the process of building mine and you're providing good inspiration. Thanks !
Thank you!
Amazing!
Thanks!
And here we can play a fun game of “Name That Porsche Part!” 😂
🤣
Beautiful! Now come do mine!
😁
nice work!
Thank you!
Armin, very nice! Now for a lift...😂
Haha Wish I had enough space for one... Need to build me a proper workshop one day.
@@RestorationApprentice would love to be able to even have the space that you do! Now that workshop is in place, more 924 content soon? Can't wait to see that completed and back on the road. I had a 1978 924 as my first Porsche.
@@jeffhammond8969 Yeah, gotta get back to finishing that 924 engine and start on some body work. My daily e39 is broken again so that's a good excuse for a video too.
Good job! I am gonna renovate my garage soon, and i wonder what kind of lighting you use? Big fan of the lighting strips in the roof
Thank you! Cheapest ones I could find 😅 Bought them locally
Looks good, why not plaster the walls for smooth finish?
And have you considered a lift bridge or a scissor bridge, even in small spaces it should work.
Plastering is too much work for a workshop that would get dirty very quickly, in my opinion. I don't have hight for a regular lift. There are smaller options but not worth it, I think.
@@RestorationApprentice I don't want to promote anything, but I myself have a (second hand) lift from Twin Busch (TW242G) this is specially for low garage boxes. (The column height is only 2.3 meters) I myself also only 2.5 meters working height. I cannot stand under it but I can easily work under my 944 sitting or lying down with the car 1 to 1.2 meter height from the floor.
I have the lift sunk into the floor so the cables run through a steel conduit in the floor so I have a flat work floor without a cable duct on top.
@@mr.v465 thanks, I'll look into that.
@@mr.v465 it's quite pricey(for me) at 2250€ here, where I live. No second hand ones on the market.
