    First, Em produced this beat. He is really underated producer.
    Secondly, this was supposed to be the movies soundtrack. Thats why parts of it are in the movie.

    This is from the 8 Mile soundtrack, not an Eminem album, that's why it's got 50 on there. Also gotta point out that this song is done from the perspective of the character that Em played in 8 Mile. The character was heavily based on Em's real life but there's still some slight differences between the 2 of them. Regardless, it's a top-5 Em workout song. Em's got so many hits that you gotta start breaking them into categories lol

He is constantly referring back to his older stuff and I think it’s why it doesn’t hit for people who don’t take the time to give him a chance. FINALLY some legends react to one of my favourite tunes from the 8mile soundtrack!
    I use this song EVERY time I go out on a trek cos guys I suffer with severe chronic pain and I had been stuck in my bedroom for 80% of the last 3 years. Got myself some in ear pods and this track was one of the first on there as well as OBVIOUSLY "til I collapse"

    So first of all, I want to say that you guys are my new favorite reactors! I love the mix of bear heads and bar catchers, you all do y’all own thing, plus I get a good laugh. Second of all, if you listen to the entire Game diss to Em, it’s ridiculous. He uses Ems own cadence from Older songs, but the thing that pisses me off, is Game literally turns his Dodd song into a racial thing. Tells Em he was never really that good but he’s white, and never really been in the rap game because he’s white and tries so hard to be black. Me has been true to himself for decades. He is who he is, and real people like real. Lastly….I’m begging, do Eminem’s “Greatest”…it’s nasty. Keep doin y’all guys, it’s appreciated

    • @bcriz
      @bcriz 2 года назад +1

      @@davidgbenke I agree! Rewind is one of the best tracks I’ve ever heard and the story was even better because he rapped the story backward. I had to listen to that song several times to thoroughly get the song from the actual beginning to the end of the track. I loved how even some of the dialogue between the characters in the story was backwards as well like that one part where he said “shoot don’t please” but in normal dialogue, he’s saying “please don’t shoot.” You can also picture everything going backwards as well like how he described the smoke going back into the blunt and back into the flower. Nas was wayyy ahead of his time those days.

      @@RushNZ absolutely! He is so undeniably the greatest lyrically, of all time imho. I really hope they get around to this performance because it also showcases him just rapping in everyone’s faces, after all the censoring and backlash, he is here saying what he wants to say. Just epic! Especially the moment where he gives a pound to Carson Daly lol

    • @RushNZ
      @RushNZ 2 года назад +1

      @@elizabitty213 Hahaha oh snap I remember that, he daps up Carson but leaves Fred Durst hanging... Em was a real mfer lol. I agree, there's never been a better lyricist than Eminem, even Rakim said that, and he's one of the OG goats. The great thing about Em is he can make songs that make you feel as well as songs that are just lyrical masterpieces. If he's not in your top 10 you just don't get it.

    50 Cent was on this album because it was the soundtrack to the 8 Mile Road movie and the soundtrack was classic and was heavy with Eminem, 50, Royce 5'9, Obie Trice, D12 and even tracks from Jay-Z and Nas. It went multi-platinum like all of Em's albums and "Lose Yourself" won a grammy I believe.
