Thanks so much for this video! For some reason I can't follow written instructions. I stared at the instructions for like 30 minutes and got nowhere, then I watched this video and the cover was on within 15 minutes! Thanks 🙏
Looks like it's solid. But there is ZERO chance I'm putting anything on my Truck that says Yita Motors. LOL I was hoping this was a vid on the Max Mate, or one of the other Amazon cheaper options. I may forget it... and just do it right. Get a Truxedo. It's worth the extra money.
No it's been working out without the gasket. Only when I go through a high pressure car Wash does water get in there. Otherwise it's been bone dry without the gasket, and it allows the tailgate to drop without anything creating friction.
@@JrsGasolineAlley thanks! I ended up adding it on mine. Agree that it's really only need because of higher pressure washes, and I still get a little water in there even with it.
it won't at all. the air in the bed is low pressure so when you are on the highway the air over the bed just flows right over the pocket of air in the bed.

So glad I could help
The gasket is for the top of the bulkhead (front of bed). Bought same short box cover for less than $135.
I just saw them on E-bay for $125 for my jeep. Thanks for the video just made my decision easier.
Dude this was good. Like watching an episode on the power block lol.
That's awfully kind of you
I have the exact same truck, just ordered this cover based on your suggestion.
Enjoy!
Looks good. Security. Helps with aerodynamics. Affordable. Win 4x.
Having trouble getting it to latch in place. The rounded edge of the end of the cover is hitting the bed rail by about a cm. What am I missing?
How has it held up very interested in getting this for my 2022 refresh custom trail boss. By the way it has the 2.7 in it too.
Still holding up well, 72k miles with it now. Love the Tonneau cover.
Are these covers compatible with drop in bed liners?
Just ordered one for my 2022 Duramax. Thanks.
Nice!

Max Mate is a better name than Yita Motors? Hah, both are silly names to put on a truck
They’re probably all made in the same Chinese factory
Super clean look!
Totally
@@JrsGasolineAlley can you roll it open if the tailgate is locked? Curious for security purposes.
No, you can't. But from a security point of view somebody could just cut it with a knife...
They are great but only problem is that anyone with a knife or screwdriver can get in fast:(
Obviously they are not made for security.
How durable are the locking clips near the tailgate? Are they plastic or metal?
So far after a year of ownership and regular use, they're still going well
So how does it hold on the car wash tunnels? Any flap noise?
Fantastic, no problems
I did not get the product on Amazon
ok
How has it held up?
Great, 65k miles and it still is water tight and working well. Prob one of the best/most useable mods I have done on my truck
Did you end up using the rubber gasket?

@@JrsGasolineAlley Were you able to get the tailgate working? Mine gets stuck too.
Do you think it works with the new tailgate multipro for the models 2022?
how did it affect mpg? I would expect a small improvement on the highway
