When my mate was put in clink for being naughty - I used to cut out pages from viz comics and send them to him.
There was one in particular that I've tried to find - maybe someone can help, I sent it to him and he said he read it multiple times, it was hilarious.
So there's a man and a kid and they're in a little village sort of setting - the dad goes off or something but the son is left alone, suddenly an elderly man emerges from I think the bushes, he's incoherent, babbling - the kid is all confused and acting like the man is some kind of bizarre creature the likes of which he's never seen.
The man blurts out some gibberish and hands the kid an empty can of lager then the man leaves. The kid takes the can to his dad and tells him about the man, like - yo, he gave me this, what is it?
Dad's like - I've no idea...so they take it so a scientist and he examines it before explaining to the man and his son that it would appear to be an empty vessel that once contained an alcoholic beverage.
The boy and his dad leave and ponder the meaning of the interaction and the object and the story ends.
I loved those ones, they were beyond surreal and hilarious- I remember another one a dude was making candles or soap, can't remember, someone followed him and saw him dig fat from the back of a whale using a pick axe to make the candles, I laughed for like an hour - Viz inspired me, I draw comics like that, the more surreal and ridiculous the better.

Thanks very much for uploading this. I don't suppose you have any off air episodes of Billy The Fish or Roger Mellie do you? I've been looking for those for years.

@video dump thank you very much. That Billy The Fish you uploaded was the compilation, broadcast on the 24th December. This covered the first 3 episodes broadcast on C4 in August 1990. I've found Ep 1, from the 8th Aug, on another channel. I'm now hunting down parts 2 and 3 along with any of "The Further Adventures of Billy the Fish". I've got 3 full eps of Roger Mellie (Challenge Roger, Whose Line is it now and Blinkety Blank). Likewise, I'm hunting for any of the others. I'd be over the moon if you had anything else.

They guy playing the journalist might be....I think the VIZ staff are the real guys though - That said, you do know this is a piss take, right ?
