I also feel and think differently since childhood. Normal people don't know how to relate because they can't. Different is disorder to them. Smile and continue to to be yourself without attracting to much attention. That's difficult.

Yesss... I love how you presented it. Being constantly gaslight can lead to mental disease. I can't believe how many years I've spent thinking there's something "wrong" with me.
Being sensitive in world that hates sensitivity is like seeing colors in world that's color blind.
We are strong minded to function in a world that's meant to gaslight us

6:53 Yes thank you so much for speaking on BPD! I was diagnosed last year after a 15 to 20 minute session with a brand new psychiatrist. But my therapist also let me know that in the new DSM that BPD will be renamed CPTSD. I hope that’s true! Because there is such a negative stigma and so much misinformation on BPD. We are taught to be feared. But also BPD can go into remission, which, when I learned that I had great relief. This is a great video and I hope other people with BPD can gain some relief

Highly sensitive with ADHD, only diagnosed at 22, experienced insane amount of emotional trauma. Living in a boring, industrialized city full of deeply unconscious people, living together with my emotionally immature parents, who don't have and don't understand ADHD, and are unsupportive. I've been searching and applying for jobs for 7 months now, non of them worked out so far and I barely have any money left. The insane amount of failures I've experienced last year has brought me to a state of acceptance and surrender. Mostly thanks to a great mentorship I'm doing now. I'm experiencing a lot of anxiety sometimes, but I still have hope for my future!
This video was amazing, I just found it in my recommended!

So thankful for change for our children’s future and ours. I’ve been working on myself I can control my emotions better. I feel things deeper than most so most people around me just don’t get it. I find the world an extremely painful, overwhelming place to inhabit which provoked an emotional meltdown that has upended (and almost cost me) my life 😔
I was subsequently diagnosed with BPD which I've never been comfortable / agreed with. I've vocalised this objection on more than one occasion and tried to get my diagnosis re-evaluated numerous times (but with no success)
Thank you for so eloquently conveying what is often overlooked and dismissed (and the resulting impact) 💖💖💖

@@CandacevanDell Hi, thanks nice lady, my case is I´m in Mexico and there is no sure way to know if I have fibromyalgia, but at the insistence of my mother (r.i.p.) after unsuccessful psychiatric medications years ago I began to look into it, I have always been hypersensitive since I was a child, although by also investigating I found that some of my problems were those suffered by those who have fibromyalgia, that is, irregular or short sleep, stabbing joints, feelings like a heart attack (my uncle died of a heart attack but the cardiologists who have examined me say I have nothing), dizziness and nausea, and a few others thereabouts. I am not currently working anymore, I am only about to publish fiction books, and although my life has been somewhat heavy and difficult because of all this, I currently feel somewhat content. I am 60 and still single but with a certain joviality that attracts attention, I do a lot of research on reincarnation, new therapies and disciplines, avant-garde art, etc. etc. Despite the sudden numbness, I am somewhat hyperactive. In fact, I believe myself to be a complicated person. I still don't fully understand myself. I don't have suicidal tendencies, but sometimes I feel like my own subconscious is against me. Covid scared me but it never infected me. That made me revalue my life, which is why I want to start a new period in my life. I will leave Mexico and I intend to be an original writer, sell a lot of work. I have a gigantic multiverse to exploit, etc. etc. What I am looking for now is a more focused external orientation, something that I have never found in Mexico. If you can recommend or sell me any book or routine or whatever, I would appreciate it with all my heart. I want to successfully assume my peculiar sensitivity and leave behind so much conflict (existential, family, national, etc.) and it is better to stop here. What can you recommend me? If you require more information from me, I will gladly give it to you. Thank you very much for answering me. I hope you continue to have success in your life and career, Lady Candence. See you later. I am Edson.
