Great short! Has something of a Martin Scorsese feel, which I absolutely love! I also really like the intercutting between him running/finding the rose and at the pool tables. Really well done!
Hey Steve! I just wanted to say this was really fun for me to watch; I have an old buddy of mine that enjoyed (still does) shooting in Super 8 and I had the chance to tag along on some of his shoots when I was in my mid teens (I'm now in my late 20's)... I have just started my journey (as of March 2015) to go head-on into filmmaking... I can't tell you what it means to see someone like you to have posted this video a "monument" in time (your project from '04) and to see where you are now with your RUclips channel and how far you've come.. Thank you for showing that it is possible to grasp and find what you were meant to do... my feeble words will not be able to express the encouragement and hope that I felt what I saw your "MAKE MUCH OF TIME" (the title is quite appropriate too!) video and wanted to say "thank you"... My choice to jump right into the deep end and start my filmmaking career has been greatly boosted by what I just saw today in your short film... Thank you Steve.
Scenes From a Memory is an absolutely FANTASTIC first DT album to get into the band. But be warned, I don't feel they ever topped it... Try Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence and Octavarium (if you haven't already heard them!)
Awesome work!! I've been trying to contact you but I don't know how to send you an email so I'll contact you here. I have a canon 70D and I would like to get your advice on which mic is best for vlogging and recording short films and documentaries.

Nice film, my thought was, love is everywhere.
It certainly is. So we should try and recognize it and approach it when we see it.

Why thank you so much, Mark. That's so nice if you to say. I'm really happy that this film has impacted even just one person. Thanks again.
You're so welcome!
I also wanted to know if there is a site or channel specifically dedicated to your independent works or projects? Thanks!
Yes there is! www.rethink-films.com
