Problem with the air suspension in those trucks, it was a $1,700 option, but the dealer quotes 4,800 to repair and replace the air compressor and block. It's a frequent failure of those trucks.
Being someone who has gone through 3 compressors since new, I would have done an Air Delete kit. I just deleted my setup 4 months ago because I was going to need another $3000 compressors. I was tired of not knowing if it was going to work while towing or drop down to the bump stops because it was in a bad mood.
Just curious, putting on those tires being almost 38 inches, what about the speedo. Did you have to recalibrate? It’s no longer reading the miles per hour correctly. If you did have to fix it , what device did you use?
My skid plates/rim where never the same after the last time I went through a puddle like they did. Things can be hiding in that water. You only make that mistake once.
Should of put in Moog instead of those durashit suspension parts.Same with the wheelbearings using Timken instead.Those torque specs,a couple ugga duggas with an impact is better
Why would you change the tailgate? The next episode shows you lifting and off-roading it... makes zero sense. It is a truck! You are gonna get dents or scratches anyway.
How come you didn't show that front end being assembled was it a pain in the ass? I bet it was. You guys struggled with it so much you had to cut out all the swearing didn't you?
Replaced, rotors, pads, hubs, upper and lower control arms, steering spindle and the rod ends but reinstalls the most common known failure point in these trucks, the stock axles. 🤦
So, wasted all of the time and money by putting lipstick on that pig just to cover the seats. Then all of that money on tires and lift to not regear. Weird.

16 horses to the tires with a few bolt-on power mods, on larger tires, isn't too bad.

Deleted mine also and went 6” coilover suspension. So much nicer.
