Police pursue high-speed vehicle in Los Angeles County

- Four suspects were taken into custody after a high-speed pursuit in Los Angeles County on Friday night.
The suspects were wanted for assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The pursuit initially began in South L.A. around 9:15 p.m. The driver was seen traveling without headlights and reaching speeds of over 100 miles per hour while dangerously weaving through traffic.

There needs to be harsher consequences for people like this that put innocent civilians in harms way.

Accept for the person they assaulted with a deadly weapon!!! Punishment need to be so high that they think twice. These guys will be out of jail tonight or in the morning. They will go on to having zero jail time. They will do the very same thing again because there is ZERO punishment. We live in a not my fault world.

I counted at least 12 patrol vehicles.... Why do you need 12 patrol vehicles? If the suspect is on the freeway, call ahead and block off the freeway and end the chase... American law enforcement are sooooooo slow. Sigh...
Should have taken the 5, get off Magic Mountain Pkwy., and crashed into the Magic Mountain ticket gate before ditching the car and hiding in the theme park. I'd recommend going straight to Goliath but take a turn into a hallway to your left before the ride entrance. That's the employee cafeteria that has a few hidden exits and a lack of cameras. Good places to lose the ghetto bird. Then hide in a closet somewhere and wait for things to die down.

I have this idea for a bad TV drama episode about an unscrupulous DA in cahoots with television "news" executives who entice wanted criminals to run from the police on TV for pay and reduced sentences.
