The next gen ford ranger, what do we think? In this video we go through the new ranger and compare the sport to the wildtrak ford ranger.
The Ford Ranger SPORT & WILDTRAK what cars these are guys, we had a great time reviewing this car and we loved it. Competing with the Mitsubishi triton, Isuzu D-Max, MAZDA BT-50, Toyota HiLux, Volkswagen Amarok and Nissan Navara 4X4 this car dominates in some sections and is not to be taken lightly.

Im just happy the aussi version has the goofy grill and the US version is normal. Great truck though!

I can understand new gen Rangers appeal to younger people - tough looks, hi tech widgets etc. however for us old timers who had owned multiple generations of 4wd utes I prefer the simple and non gimmicky approach and confidence inspiring reliability of the Toyota Hilux.
It’s crazy how much technology is in a utility vehicle, you’re right tho, utility vehicles used to be so plain. Hiluxs are a neat Ute.

I have the urge to get the car and go through a maccas drive though all of a sudden 😂

Functional sports bar? What is it's function?? Why does the Bi-turbo have 4x4 on the tailgate and the Sport has 4WD?
Hey mate, you can use it for many thing such as mounting accessories and even using it to tie down a load if need be, and that's a good question I'm not too sure I'll try and find out!

@@ShiftIntoGear. 4WD is to indicate it has full-time 4WD but 4x4 is the old, typical, part time 4wd system where the ute can only go into 4wd when off-road on loose surfaces.
See it has the selector Drive Mode so by a simple turn of the knob, it allows you to select different modes, As I believe the higher-end Rangers will also offer an intelligent 4x4 system meaning it can be driven on demand on the road, a few different competitors have come up with a similar feature to the Rangers drivetrain, it's impressive, but I believe entry levels are part 4x4 system. Explains the different badging. Thanks for the comment.

Oh no way, what colour did you order? How excited you must be to get that car in October, not long now till you get it. And which AT tyre's where you thinking on putting on ? That's a pretty big saving that you get for having an ABN, can spend it on some more accessories on the car. 😄

Well the prices start rough around with out on roads for the Ranger Sport Double Cab Pick-Up 2.0-litre bi-turbo 4x4 - $63,690 and for the Ranger Sport Double Cab Pick-Up 3.0-litre diesel V6 4x4 - $66,690 and Ranger Wildtrak Double Cab Pick-Up 2.0-litre bi-turbo 4x4 - $67,190 and for Ranger Wildtrak Double Cab Pick-Up 3.0-litre diesel V6 4x4 - $70,190 .
But of course the Ford dealer would help you out with the promotion.
