Comprehensive review without getting into technical mumbo jumbo. Its exactly what a prospective buyer needs to know and thank you boys. However 3 questions remain: 1) How will the car drive and wear over time? Will the car start to "fall apart" ? Will any significant issues pop up? 2) 7 warranty is great on paper however MG owners are complaining that MG dealers are either hard to contact or avoiding thier warranty obligations. Will Chery suffer from the same lack of dealer support? 3) Given the MGs are suffering from huge depreciation issues (50% in 4 years) will the Chery suffer from the same fate? ......Only time will tell
Hey champ, That’s some really good feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us a comment. The questions that you have mentioned is on everyone’s mind, but time will tell like you said. But so far they seem to be alright, 👍.
Hi guys. I got one last week. When we were on high way the car so noisy, but not bad in town. Is it normal or something rong ?
Hey mate, congrats on the car! I'd say that's normal depending on the road you're driving on. Keep in mind Tyres play a big part of it and these Tyres could be louder than other higher priced brands so you could always change them in the future. What color did you go for?
I would have snatched this up if it was available here in the states. Yeah, same power plant, but the looks are (for me at least) eye catching. Would have ordered in magnetite grey, hood guard and lower front bumper guard with the engine skid plate. Thule extended cross bars with all of the cargo protection in the cargo area with door, STI door cup and mud guards and door window visor guards. That’s just of the options I put on my ‘24 custom built Forester that’s sitting in my garage as we speak.
Wow I’m impressed, they are an amazing car, looks have always been there with these cars and performance but It would of been cool if they bought back the XT version in Australia, we like turbos here lol 😂
the one in picture seems to have sunroof, which means it's 2000 dollars more expensive, but, I don't like the sun shining in my face
Hey Frank, yea I don’t like the shining in my face when I’m driving either, but you can close the actual cover to stop that or what's even better using it on a summer night for some air
@@ShiftIntoGear. the Tiggo 4 pro wagon hasn't got a sunroof, which would have been an extra 1000 dollars or so, I picked mine up on Friday 15.11.24, but driving straight a few hundred meters the steering wheel seemend to lock up a little, I have to wait n see if this occurs again
The main drawback is the fingerprints all over the place. Although that could be a deterrent for crimnals without a set of gloves who might want to take it on a joyride i.e. the cops don't have to look too far to find the evidence.
Haha yeah that's the thing with the gloss black, looks great just a little harder to keep clean! But I never thought of it like that 😂 appreciate the comment James.
Rubbishhhhh
Hmm 🤔 lol
Not Manuel 😢
Yep no Manual, it’s a shame, but maybe one day they'll make one manual!
Absolutely love this video my boys❤❤❤
Awww thank you for the kind words, we appreciate it 🧡 💕.
Obviously ...this ain't in USA... And blasphemy for no Manual transmission
You guessed it right, it’s in Australia 🇦🇺. We love manual cars in Australia but don’t get many of them because the market isn't as big. I’m guessing you’re from America?

I had old shape and didn’t had massive issues but won’t thing I will buy it again tho. But Chinese utes have just little more cabin room out of all small crammed Utes out of Thailand but still crammed for 5 people like any other small Ute
Hey there, Aw appreciate the feedback, how come you wouldn’t buy one again, I’m just curious, and viewers would love to know as well. That’s actually true, they’re very spacious inside, our ford rangers are decent in the cabin space but there aren’t many models out there with a decent cabin space.
Is it true that you can't install the mountain roll cover due to the plastice sports bar at the back?
That’s an awesome question, I’ll have to do a little of research and find out the facts about that. And if any viewers know the answer to comment as well lol.
Excellent Review ❤❤😍😍😍😍 I am your became a subscriber and supporter
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing 🧡
Nice job on the review guys. I looked at one of these at Shellharbour City Motors today. Didn't test drive it... but sitting in the drivers seat, it felt comfortable enough for my size and height (around 186cm). I'm going from a 2019 Triton GLXR downsizing to a run-about car that is cheap over 7 years. I never imagined myself purchasing a Chery but the value is hard to deny!
Thanks for your comment! We totally agree and like we mentioned in the video, for a cheap run-around car it offers great value that’s hard to ignore. It’s great to hear it felt comfortable for your size, and downsizing to something affordable like this could be a smart choice. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts! Do you think you'll buy the car?
mine is coming, but for Star Silver Metallic I had to pay extra 500 for the paint and some 500 for metallic, why, yeah why pay extra for colour
Yea some manufacturers charge additional for metallic colours, you would think that a colour of your choice is standard these days, but unfortunately it isn’t. Well we hope you enjoy your new vehicle 😀.
Kind of a let down..was expecting with the sti logo behind it..the engine would be atleast with the ascent or legacy xt or the wrx likenthe old days.
Well the market for these cars may not be as big here in aus but we did love the previous models in the forester when they had a turbo motor, maybe one day Subaru will bring back the XT! Such a great car!
The exposed wiring near spare tyre towards the back seat is a let down. This could be easily be tidied up by Chery, otherwise a nice small car.
Hey Rodney, I agree, it’s a small thing but it should be taken care of, it’s more appealing to the buyer, for a budget car you still expect a little more tidiness. Appreciate you taking the time to comment and watch the review champ.
Love your videos 👏👏 keep it up!
We love that you, love our videos 😃.
Two years iv had one bash it around up the bush almsot every weekend. 50k kms havnt had any issues
That’s amazing to get that sort of feedback, so it’s never had any issues at all ?
is that spare tyre the same size as the ones on the car? people saying it would last only 20 or 30 k's ...
Hi Frank, This is a space saver so it’s really just to get you out of trouble and make sure you get the full size tyre replaced, so that’s why they recommend you use it to get you out trouble and get to a tyre shop as soon as you can. Temporarily fix.
Rate this car for what it is, a little city runaround SUV. Good enough for most buyers on a budget, 7 year manufacturer’s warranty and a low $290 per service.
We totally agree! The Tiggo 4 Pro is a great budget city SUV with which is what it aims to be. Thanks for watching
I can see you can turn off any of the safety features. Does this save? Or do you need to do this every time you turn on the vehicle?
Hi Steve, Yep certain features you can turn off and stay turned off I believe. Thanks for watching Steve.
Great job..I’m happy to subscribe..keep it up.
Thank you so much for subscribing and the kind words! I really appreciate your support- we will keep bringing more great content your way! Stay tuned!
Does the 3.2 Diesel have issues with the Dieselpump like other manufacturers?
Hi there, To be honest I’ve never had any issue with that and I have owned two Pajeros, I have heard of people putting bad diesel in and it has affected them. Looking in buying one ?
@ Thank you for your answer! Yes, i have interest in owning a Pajero somewhere in the future. But its hard to find decent ones this days i guess.
All good, 👍. I know what you mean, but there are a few out there, at a few Mitsubishi dealerships, but I’m the same, I’m cautious in buying a used one until I do a proper mechanical inspection on them just to be safe.
Great review. I’ve had my new Tiggo4 for a few days now and enjoying the overall package. I tried looking at other makes but the dealers never got back to me due to stock shortages. And the second hand market is atrociously inflated.
Thank you! I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying your new Tiggo 4! The current market challenges make it tough to find alternatives, and the pricing is definitely inflated. It sounds like you made a great choice! If you have any favorite features, let me know!
This is not an “ all terrain “ 😂😂 its a X- terrain lol
Haha you got me there 😂

I bought this car a week ago! 💖💖💖 it!
Congratulations on your purchase, what’s the best thing you love about it ? 😀
Bro i was so shock when i see donlad trump lookin at me 😂😂 But Oo am am first!🎉 Under 3m 👇🏻
Hahahaha he is lol 😂 well done 👍
LDV ute is garbage. dont waste your money.
Fair enough lol have you had one before ?
@@ShiftIntoGear.I learned it the hard way, lost money to get rid of it. Stick to Toyotas and fords.
@ that’s insane, it’s the worst feeling when you lose out on something you have purchased, it seems like everyone loves there Toyota and fords. Did you end up getting one of those ?
@@ShiftIntoGear.The LDV transmission will start leaking and it will piss oil wherever you stop, and will jam the steering. Two months ago got a Toyota Hillux SR5. Buying an LDV is like burning hard earned cash. Learn from other peoples mistakes.
That’s insane, sorry to hear that man, but we appreciate you sharing that information, Toyota SR5 is a beast of a Ute 🛻. Once again thanks for sharing.
Great stuff. Looking to buy one and not worried long as it last 5 years.
Aw that’s mad. You know the funny thing is, everyone says the same thing, they only want it for a few years then change it over.
Wish they lean more towards their old British heritage even though LDV now owned by China
That’s very true. I think a lot of people won’t sure that they where Chinese built trucks, till they finally did some research into it.
Can you purchase that anywhere online?
Hi Kevin, Yep I actually have the website on my RUclips channel with the actual review there. Click on the description and it will take you to the website to purchase them. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
Do they still break after 6 months of use and completely rust out?
I have not come across that just yet lol I’m assuming you had these experiences before with this brand ?
i would buy one if they stop with these stupid touch screens inside , they just look ridiculous imo , I'm old school
That’s very true, I don’t mind a few buttons in a vehicle still and some gauges that aren’t always digital, a mix between the two would be a little more appealing to the buyer. Nothing wrong with old school, best looking vehicles are the old school ones and probably the most reliable as well. Appreciate you watching.
@@ShiftIntoGear. now you are talking 🙂 would be very nice indeed, but they look a little too much towards al these electrical driving bombs and their widescreen behaviors ... Silly stuff but easy installed i guess
😂
Great looking car. I wonder how these will hold up in the long term!
Thanks for watching mate, yes very interesting to see the long term quality of all these cars in the market today!
Long term will be interesting, few people with the first AU Gen still swearing by them from 2018.. that’s not 15 years though. I’ve had mine for a couple of years, goes well. 👌
That’s so true, but that’s a good sign if you have yours for a couple of years, it must be a decent Ute but your right the 15 years mark will true be the ultimate test.
Here in Mexico its called Montero Limited. I am currently considering a buying a 2016 model with 80k on the odometer. I just love the look of this car. I feel like a king. Already did a test ride. Value wise a second hand of this year goes around 15k USD - 20k USD. Seems they hold value quite well. Don't like the 6/7th passenger seat unless you have 2 little kids the storage space is not great compared to the Outlander of the same year. I find the Outlander (2019) that I also tested to have more room in the back. I want to put my MTB inside the car so its important to have enough space. With the Outlander I don't need to fold the 2nd row. With the Montero I do. That being said, I have sleepless nights whether I should buy the Montero or not. Its just a beauty. Shame design wise the latest Montero does not even look close. Does anyone know if you can remove the spare tire cover? I mean its nice but I think having just the wheel with a bag cover is enough. The plastic cover is huge. Saw somewhere on the web someone removed it. Btw does anyone know the length from the front to the spare wheel extension? because not sure it can fit in my garage which is about 5.2 meters in length.
Hey mate, That’s a pretty cool name they have it there, I know that feeling that your describing, you do feel like a king when driving this beautiful car on the road, and your right the value doesn’t drop much, it holds it very well over the years, yea the extra seats in the rear are for little kids, I won’t lie I have sat in the back for a long drive haha it wasn’t bad but it was a little uncomfortable after a while lol. We felts the same way when they took the Pajero away from the Australian market and put a Pajero sport instead which is nothing like the Pajero to be honest. I think by buying it you will enjoy it but with second hand cars always do a full inspection of them. I get a mechanical check on used cars just to be on the safe side. I’m not a hundred percent sure but I’ll try and find out. Let us know how you go mate.
You didn't actually provide a review of the product and its features. This was basically an ad. Respect for getting free swag from companies but this is a waste of time for individuals actually looking for insights about a product.
How much mate?
Hey Chris, There roughly around $50,500 drive away, I think also depends which state you live in lol but in NSW it’s roughly around that. 😀
Code orange ❤ my next car
👍 😀
YESSSS PLEASSE!!! We also need it here in the USA PLEAAEEEASSEE!!! Also, make it V6 version with a large capacity of gas tank so that people won’t complain here for having a v6 has a bad mpg on the city and highway. WE WANT ONE! And i fucking love the MAZDA BRAND. ALL OF MY CARS ARE MAZDA. I want this MAZDA TRUCK BT-50 🙏🙏🙏🥲🥲🥲🥺🥺🥺
I wish we could get it to you in the USA with the v6 motor you wish for, but manufacturers are strange when it comes to sending the right models to the right countries, it’s beautiful inside and drives like a dream. Maybe one day Mazda will bring this model there. Fingers crossed.
What’s the battery range? I know those batteries have a ton of power but I’m just curious about the range. I hope it’s better than the teslas cause they are so badass compared to the 2023 corvettes
That’s not an E Ray
Hey mate this one is the 6.2L V8
I got a 2017 with 130k kilometres, my brother has a 2006 model with 350,000 ks, both never missed a beat, this is my second Pajero my 1sr was a 1997 model
Literally similar kms to what I have on mine now, I don’t blame you buying another Pajero after your first one, I literally did the same thing lol, I feel in love with this car and didn’t want anything else but the same model, it’s a shame that it got discontinued. Biggest mistake Mitsubishi did.
@@ShiftIntoGear. definitely a big mistake by Mitsubishi stopping the Pajero, I had a triton in between my 2 Pajeros, I should have just got another Pajero, I wasn’t happy with the triton at all, had the 3.2 diesel but a belly full of bad fuel ruined it, I now have dual fuel filters
@@yindyamarra thats actually really smart, never thought about that, I’m always cautious about what fuel I put into my Pajero and who services it as well. Lucky I have had the same mechanic who serviced my first Pajero. There was talks about Mitsubishi bringing back the Pajero, but an electric version. But again it could be just speculations. They should bring one more diesel out, I reckon they would be sold out before they even arrive to Australia lol 😂
@@ShiftIntoGear. well worth the security knowing all the dirty fuel will be caught in the first filter, I won’t ever not have one on a diesel engine
@@yindyamarra how much did that set you back ?
To much fucking talking
Why
Maxxis razr A/T are the best all terrain I have used to date on my 2015 NX Paj. 5 speed manual. No DPF in 2015 The best thing we did was put a lift kit kings HDD in the front with a bar on the front with 2 " no more.... with bags in the rear so you don't have to put super heavy duty springs in the rear when no load in it. Penrite semi synthetic 10-40. 220,000 km and going strong. Just waiting to see if they make the new paj.
I think Mitsubishi are using maxxis A/T on a few of there cars now, I believe there putting it on the triton, never actually used that brand before but have heard from a few people that there not bad at all. Sounds like you take good care for your Pajero, they’re the best value for your buck, I wish they make another one. But the way it’s going it will probably be electric lol 😂
It's definitely worth the asking price.
So true it is 😀.
full size vs midsize... yeah,. one is bigger lol smh
Haha thanks for watching 😃.
Zzzzzr2 not zider2 lol
Hahaha thanks Josh for picking up on that 😂
Lol...same prixe as a F150 Raptor...nah
Lolllll
Just got mine and man this thing is amazing!!
Aw you are cheering, it’s an amazing truck. What colour ?
